Anthropic just pulled Claude Code from the Pro plan. Pro users wanting it need Max now. $100/month minimum. 5x jump. I'm on Max 20x so I'm fine. Flagging for anyone on Pro who's about to find out. No announcement. Just a pricing page edit.

I get so many personal thank you emails for something and it’s not even a feature. All we needed apparently was a new codex plan. Can we rest now?

@thsottiaux so the fraudulent accounts were just… us, using Codex too much. we were the abuse all along. he’s back… saint tibo… i knew he was real… thank you for forgiving us father 🙏

Our Codex dashboards are showing increased rate of users hitting rate limits and since we don't fully understand why I have made the cautious decision of resetting the usage limits for all plans. Enjoy. I also wanted to celebrate us finding a pocket of fraudulent accounts that we banned and have helped us regain some compute. The fight against abuse never stops, but it's important to mark the moment and make it a little shared victory.

@ivan_brko @_weidai dude, that’s exactly how i feel. every time i’m thinking to use sonnet i fear that it’s gonna break something which then opus will eventually have to fix. that’s also why i now use claude only for ui, everything else is now on codex

@sprinntt @_weidai sonnet could probably do a lot of stuff i default to opus but I don't want to have the mental overhead of thinking what's easy enough for sonnet when working on 5 different things at the time

@_weidai i genuinely like cc, have a pro subscription, but i'm thinking about moving to codex. they keep breaking stuff way to often, it's not stable enough you can rely on it.
