@BarryOnHere Conveniently disregarding how bill Russell played in an old era of questionable competition and Brady played in the best qb era the sport has ever seen

RANT: If you think Tom Brady is the GOAT then you MUST have Bill Russell as the GOAT. Full stop. How the FUCK is a guy who won 11 rings in 13 years not the GOAT but a guy who won 7 rings in 23 years is? Oh, wait, Russell's rings don't matter right? b/c his era was dogshit right? Because his STATS aren't sexy enough right? Oh so NOW stats & level of competition matter more than ring count? So, how is Brady better than guys like Unitas, Montana, Elway, Steve Young or Dan Marino if rings don't matter & Brady played in a way more QB friendly era? How is MJ better than LeBron for winning 2 more rings against way worse teams while LeBron equals him in terms of peak & destroys him in longevity? Where is the CONSISTENCY? Speaking of MJ, MJ & Kobe nuthuggers constantly talk about how players opinions matter the most when ranking other players. Yet, you never hear any of them talk about how Bill Russell won 5 MVP's when PLAYERS voted for it. NOBODY AFTER 1981 won an MVP the players voted on, so NONE of MJ & Kobe's MVPs matter by YOUR logic. TL:DR - You can't pick & choose when rings & stats matter or don't matter in GOAT debates. Make up your minds goddamnit!!!!

I think I’d take Flagg and Dybantsa over Wemby, but the fact that I have to think about it is pretty telling. It’s a floor/ceiling thing. Wemby might wind up becoming the GOAT. I’d take the injury risk with him over any one star, but at two, the floor is too high to pass up.
Josh Eberley 🇨🇦@JoshEberley

You can have the #1 pick in the 2026 draft and ANY other player in the league not named Victor Wembanyama, or you can have Wemby. What are you doing?

@OnionBoySMDFTB @BanisMajor Did he lead his team? Is he the most important player in his team? Did he won any scoring titles? Did he change the landscape of the nba? I don't think so

@BanisMajor Even bill Russell lost one in the finals against MJ never lost in the finals in that logic the one that never lost in the finals should be the goat

@SummerAweNBA The difference is LeBron had a loaded supporting cast in many of those finals. Jokić has never had a legit number two guy in his career.

This is why the 'he's 4-6 in the finals' argument is so stupid when it comes to LeBron James. Jokic lost as a massive favourite in the FIRST ROUND, and because it was so early in the playoffs, he doesn't get a 'finals loss'. But this is 10x worse...

@Novig A) this post is false those numbers are wrong B) MJ had 2 season ending injuries in his career missing a total of 64 games in one of those season C) LeBron has missed over 200 games for minor tweaks and load management included they are not the same

If a player had 2 championships 2 finals MVPs 1 MVP DPOY ROY 9 scoring titles 3 steals titles 4 All def 1st teams, never loss as a higher seed this player would be a Hall of Famer, this is what SEPARATES Michael Jordan from LeBron James. A damn career. What debate?
