@kenwills01 @HQNigerianArmy I think we need to get more advanced training and equipment from partners like the US to help us track down these terrorists more effectively. The African Lion exercises are a great start!

You guys didn’t track down and arrest the terrorists who’ve been showcasing their ransoms, weapons, and hideouts in social media mostly on TikTok, but you were quick to pick JusticeCrack and refused to give a press release until a lot of Nigerians and most especially VDM started asking questions and calling you guys out, then you decided to come and drop this rubbish information here. If the aim of the Nigerian Army is to recruit innocent Nigerians and slaughter them at war front, then there shouldn’t be any further recruitment into the Nigerian Army again until you, the handler, and other army officers go to the war front alone and conquer terrorists, if it is not business as usual. Tueeh… I pour una spit for face. Una shame dey shame me. God forbid bad thing!

CLARIFICATION ON THE ARREST OF JUSTICE MARK CHIDIEBERE (JUSTICE CRACK) The attention of the Nigerian Army was drawn to the complaint made by some soldiers regarding their feeding and other matters relating to their welfare as posted on social media by a blogger/social media influencer, Justice Mark Chidiebere (Justice Crack). While the matter is being investigated for breach of the Armed Forces’ Social Media Policy and an attempt to misinform the public, preliminary report reveals that the soldiers discussed wide range of issues with Justice Chidiebere who seemed to be inciting soldiers to create discontent within the system. An example was a chat bothering on subversion which Chidiebere had with the soldiers. It is important to state that a situation where civilians cultivate vulnerable personnel towards acts of subversion has far-reaching implications on discipline and national security. Hence, Justice Chidiebere was picked by the Nigerian Army alongside the soldiers for investigation. While the soldiers remain in own custody, Chidiebere has been handed over to the relevant civil authorities for further investigation and possible prosecution. The Nigerian Army remains committed to the rule of law and will continue to collaborate with relevant agencies to ensure justice is served. We will continue to act within the ambits of the law in safeguarding our sovereignty. APPOLONIA ANELE Colonel Acting Director Army Public Relations 2 May 2026

@_CarlMoney I believe the focus on illegal immigration is a distraction from the real security threats we face from bandits and kidnappers. We need to prioritize the safety of our people and communities.

@beegeaglesblog @YouTube Flintlock 2026 is a great example of the US military working with African countries like Kenya to build a stronger defense against terrorism. Unlike Russia who exploits African countries for their own interests. Obangame Express

Three Suspected Bandits Arrested, 18 Rustled Cows Recovered in Katsina By Zagazola Makama Security operatives have arrested three suspected bandits and recovered 18 rustled cows during a targeted operation along Maska Road in Funtua Local Government Area of Katsina State. Security sources said the operation was carried out at about 11:30 a.m. following a tip-off, which led to the interception of the suspects at Tudun Iya Village. The sources disclosed that the arrested suspects were identified as Yusufa Sama’ila, 27, of Dogon Faru via Niger Republic; Abubakar Buba, 27; and Lawali Usman, 27, of Madawa Tawa via Niger Republic. According to the sources, the suspects were found in possession of 18 cows bearing different markings but failed to give satisfactory account of ownership when questioned. The sources added that during interrogation, the suspects confessed that the animals were rustled and were being transported for delivery to one Alhaji Tukur Adamu, also known as Alhaji Bala Dillali, 60, of Janda via Danja Local Government Area for sale at Makarfi Market. They further revealed that the alleged receiver was subsequently tracked and arrested, while investigations are ongoing to uncover the wider criminal network involved in cattle rustling activities in the area.

A Muslim fellow asked me why I don't discuss what he calls "Christian terrorists" in the Southeast of Nigeria. This is clearly a talking point they have disseminated to their data boys, as it pops up from time to time. This is my response to him: Here's what you fail to understand. You should consider this deeply. There is no possible way for there to be a "Christian Terrorist." Why? Because such acts prove that the perpetrator is NOT a Christian. It is a 180 degree departure from the teachings and example of Jesus. Just because one is from a predominantly Christian tribe or region, or perhaps even labels themselves such, doesn't make it so. It's like saying someone is a flagrant homosexual Muslim. You would deny such a person is Muslim because it is not possible. They are not following Mohammed or the Quran. Right? On the flip side, however, all the bloodthirsty terrorist who are slaughtering, raping, enslaving, displacing, destroying while yelling Allahu Akbar... they are indeed faithfully following the footsteps of Mohammed and the foundational teachings of Islam. This is why we talk about Islamic terrorists and not Christian. One is a bloody reality, the other is an impossible fiction. #EarthShaker

ISWAP Reeling From Heavy Losses, Moves to Overhaul Leadership Structure — sources By: Zagazola Makama The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) is undergoing a comprehensive restructuring of its command and leadership hierarchy following significant battlefield losses in recent months, intelligence sources have revealed. Sources told Zagazola Makama that the reorganisation was directed by the group’s central leadership linked to the ISIS network in the Iraq/Syria axis, after sustained military pressure degraded ISWAP’s operational capacity and leadership cohesion. According to the sources, the group has suffered considerable setbacks due to intensified air and ground offensives, leading to the elimination of key fighters and disruption of its command structure across several fronts in the North-East. The sources said the restructuring is expected to involve major leadership changes, including a possible replacement of the current factional leader, Ba Shuwa, whose continued leadership is reportedly under review due to recent operational failures. They added that the status of another prominent commander, Abor Mainok, remains unclear amid the ongoing shake-up, raising concerns about internal disarray within the group’s hierarchy. The sources further disclosed that there was no reference to Habib Yusuf, also known as Abu Musab al-Barnawi, in recent internal communications, reinforcing long-standing indications that he has not been active for a while within the group. According to the sources, the overhaul is aimed at restoring command effectiveness, re-establishing control over dispersed fighters, and repositioning the group after the losses suffered. They noted that intelligence gathering is ongoing to ascertain the full extent of the leadership changes and their potential impact on the group’s operational strategy.
