@asksalesforce During an evening session in July, I tried to create new scratch orgs for my open source development with the CLI failing to return an instance URL. But those orgs are still counted against my quota. Who can I ask to get help with this? Any idea? Thanks!!!

@asksalesforce Hi there, thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately, I already tried to go to the help site to open a case, but the packaging org does not show up. I work for a partner and all I can see are orgs from work. Any advice on what I should do? Thx

@codefriar @SalesforceDevs @msrivastav13 The Spring 24 release is having some issues with specific org setups. I don't know the exact details but what we have heard is that fix should be coming this week. There should also be a know issue but I don't have the link right now.

Ok @SalesforceDevs, I've never seen this error before. I create 200 accounts in a list, and insert them. The next log line is 'Internal Salesforce.com Error' That's the whole error. No gack, nothing. #help? @msrivastav13

Just updated to latest CLI! Wow! You can now automatically replace snippets of your metadata source files with specific values right before you deploy the files to an org with the force:source:deploy|push commands. @SalesforceDevs @SalesforceArchs

@MShaneMc One more use case to consider are org wide email addresses. Production could use different ones than the lower environments. Unfortunately, those are stored in email actions, so we need to replace between orgs. We don't care what gets pulled, but replace via regex each deployment

@MShaneMc @TehNrd This is great stuff, @MShaneMc. It's the reason why we have to stage the metadata of a full source deployment and run some replacement scripts using ant or similar build tools before actually deploying it.
