@OneTrafford and @AmeyLtd - please can you send someone to the corner of Brook law and Deansgate Lane (Timperley) as this has looked like this for over a week. Appalling. Dog turd bags everywhere (why they leave it???), full bins and rubbish on the street.

@DavidJPIatt @AllisonPearson Stinks of delivering facts which Twitter doesn’t thrive on, or at least doesn’t like them if it doesn’t fit the narrative you need

Nothing to suggest terrorism? Do two British men usually board a train and try to stab as many passengers as possible? So no one radicalized them? Which online terror groups do they follow? I trust MI5 is all over this. It’s terrifying.

@Teamgrassroots_ He made the right call. I did the same as coach on Saturday with 3 sides of the pitch with trees 👍🏻

Message from a Refs Mum My son is a referee and has been for about a year and half, he’s 17. Friday night he came home early from being out with his mates as he had an early 8.45 match to ref . He has got up , left the house at 8.00 to drive to the match , knowing there was a weather warning in place in the area due to high winds. On arrival he was told by the home coach he had to make the decision if it was safe for the game to go ahead. The game was Under 7s so very small children probably aged mainly 6 years old. The pitch was lined with trees along 2 sides of the pitch and the branches were blowing around quite a lot. My son decided for the safety of the children it was best that game did not go ahead as he didn’t want to feel responsible if anything fell from the trees and hit anyone, especially the small children. He was then told he was being ridiculous for making this decision and also told that he would not receive any payment due to the match not going ahead. My son left the venue very disheartened. My question is this - should it be the referees (in this case a child) decision to call the game off ? If a referee calls a game off for safety reasons , should they receive no payment , despite taking the time to get the venue, having to assess the situation and the cost of travel to get there ?

Yesterday's Britain, A Better Britain.
Often a familiar sight at railway stations, from a time when Cadbury's chocolate was made by a British 🇬🇧 owned business. Since selling out to Kraft the quality of their products has rapidly deteriorated, as have Britain's railways. #Britain #Flashback

@katea76 Cadbury has been shit since Mondelez took over, they use palm oil in their chocolate and too much sugar, it's like eating bitumen. They create an artificial shortage so they jack the prices up. Law of diminishing returns right here.

They came to conquer Europe. 150,000 Ottoman soldiers stood at the gates of Vienna, ready to break through... Then, on September 12, 1683, 20,000 horsemen appeared on the horizon—the largest cavalry charge in history. What happened next changed the course of history forever:

Today is the fifth anniversary of Britain leaving the European Union. It’s a day of celebration folks. The voices of Britain were heard and respected. 🇬🇧 Getting Brexit Done was a historic moment for our country. Who’s still happy the country voted for #Brexit?

MARATHON COMPLETED 🫡 Today I completed something that 5 months ago I would never of thought possible. 42.2km (26.2 miles), my first ever marathon completed and have raised £23,800 pounds for mind charity. Did I cry, yeah about 40 times but to run with over 100 people with many inspirations today was incredibly surreal and helped massively to overcome the challenge. Thank you to everyone who came down today and helped spread awareness for mental health and to @hardestgeezer for changing my life!!! MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS

@j_nay77 @CenterRotation You’re “reminding” a Canadian surgeon how the US works. I’m well aware. You seem to imply that the only reason people run multiple rooms in places where it happens is monetary gain and that salaried surgeons shouldn’t be incentivized to maximize efficiency. I’m not sure why.

This is a great thing for the UK to be adopting and employing, but developed? You mean that thing North America has been doing for decades? This isn’t a new model at all, I ran 2 rooms in a day last month. Guys like @CenterRotation do it every week.
