@Caleb_Denison @High_Def_News This is only one stimulus (90%) and competing RGB models expand coverage at lower stimulus. A few percent difference in coverage is also visually negligible in instances where the content would call for it. Sony typically is behind in measurements but still out performs others.

@High_Def_News if the BT.2020 measurements seen here actually meant something, they are less impressive than others’ numbers. But they don’t tell you much at all. Excited for new Sony models? Yes. But the BT.2020 business is close to meaningless: youtu.be/DkoZ2aM71uU?si…

S95H (right) after proper correction is the most complete image quality of any TV I've tested. The F (left) was great for low luminance and the H improves on it more. While the F colors can get "close" the H simply outclasses the F in many areas. Least flawed TV I've tested.

@D11dib @GamingTech_HDR @TechWithKG No, this is incorrect. Sony is not the best for gaming as they have always active dynamic tone mapping and the Samsung can be corrected to be the best gaming TV on the market for accuracy.

@GamingTech_HDR @TechWithKG @CT_Calibrations From my personal experience. It’s breathtaking. Deepest blacks and contrast, perfect shadow and near black detail pristine and premium game mode picture quality, accurate colours. Correcting gamma and tracking the PQ EOTF accurately is impossible on Samsung according to HDTV

@TechWithKG I don't think it's confirmed yet but looked like a reasonable leak or something.

@CT_Calibrations I will get the S95H probably when there is a sale. Is it true this is the last QD OLED from Samsung?

Newest .68 FW update for the LG G6 made DV significantly worse than it was in .67. It went from a bit lifted in shadows but overall pretty good, to extreme shadow detail crushing. Avoid the update if you have the TV and my testing of the G6 is indefinitely on hold.

Important update regarding S95H raised black level in HDR. I figured out what is causing it, and believe it to be a bug and not intentional. It only affects the 55in size, and I know how to fix it on them. I will be sending the details to Samsung to give them a chance to fix it.

LG G6 with latest .67 FW before calibration in filmmaker mode. Slight change in Nosferatu scene but still has halo around her face. Posterization is visible in most content, even something like Frozen. Low bit rate dark content is very green with excessive macro blocking.

@yadspi No you can't remove it. Just get black tape.

@CT_Calibrations Ohhh, You can just remove it? Does it void the warranty or it's clean?

Few dollars and a few minutes to fix the S95H bezel

@Boubi6854956162 @Jackgamer74 EOTF is easy to correct on the S95H. Only issue is the raised black floor in HDR and game mode color inaccuracies haven't changed.

LG G6 aparrantly has a lot of issues, according to Classy 😳 How is this possible. Its even worse than the LG G5 launch ??? Classy mentions these issues: Original FW and current FW. It has many issues, poor gradients, posterization, overshoot, crawling dither, etc. Worse than G3 launch, probably worse than G5 launch if not similar.

@CT_Calibrations Hey I trust your opinion, and you could have compared each TV directly. I'm torn between the G5, G6, and S95H. The TV will be used 70% of the time for PC gaming and 30% for streaming movies, series, and Netflix, HBO Max. Which one would you choose?

OOTB EOTF in FMM definitely raised on the G6. Samsung anti-glare still significantly better for my particular room where the kitchen ceiling lights are not visible (aside from in the bezel!), but they are a distraction with the G6 coating.

OOTB still, but this is not good for the G6...
