I used to love my wife because she earned it. When she was kind, I was kind. When she respected me, I respected her. When she didn't—I didn't. Marriage was a transaction. A balance sheet. I gave what I got. Nothing more. Then one Sunday our pastor said something I couldn't shake. "The way you treat your wife is the way you treat the Lord." I thought he was being poetic. He wasn't. That night I looked at my wife. Really looked. She was exhausted. The kids had been brutal. The house was chaos. And I was keeping score. Waiting for her to earn my kindness. That's when it hit me: I wasn't loving a woman. I was worshiping myself. Every act of service I withheld was worship I stole from God. Every cold shoulder was an altar to my ego. Every "she started it" was a prayer to my own righteousness. Marriage isn't a contract between two people. It's an offering to the One who made them. I started loving her differently. Not because she deserved it. Because He does. I served her when she didn't thank me. I pursued her when she pulled away. I led when I didn't feel like leading. Not for applause. For an audience of One. She noticed. Not right away. But one night she said: "You're different. What happened?" I told her the truth. "I stopped loving you to get something back." "I started loving you to give something up." She didn't understand at first. Now she does. When you love your spouse as an act of worship Everything shifts. The scoreboard disappears. The transaction ends. And marriage becomes what it was always supposed to be. A daily death to self. A living sacrifice. An act of worship disguised as a Wednesday night doing dishes. Your spouse isn't your enemy. They're your offering. Treat them like one.

R.I.P. Army Specialist Sarah Beckstrom E.O.W. 11-27-2025 A few moments ago, Specialist Sarah Beckstrom passed away from the injuries sustained during yesterday’s horrific shooting. Sarah served with courage, extraordinary resolve, and an unwavering sense of duty to her state and to her nation. She answered the call to serve, stepped forward willingly, and carried out her mission with the strength and character that define the very best of the West Virginia National Guard. Today, we honor her bravery and her sacrifice as we mourn the loss of a young woman who gave everything she had in defense of others. We will forever hold her family, her friends, and her fellow Guardsmen in our prayers as they grieve what no family should ever have to bear.

After my parents fled the Islamic Regime in 1979, they found safe haven in Queens, New York. That’s where I was born. In a tiny apartment in Queens. My parents had nothing. Not money. Not connections. Not even the ability to speak English. Unlike Zohran Mamdani, I didn’t go to a fancy private school. I went to a NYC public school that was so crowded there weren’t enough desks for each student. Half the time I sat on the radiator in the back of the room and took notes on my lap. I rode the MTA bus home, while both my parents worked to put food on the table and rebuild their lives. And they did rebuild. Because in America, and only in America, capitalism gave them a real chance to start again. The people supporting Mamdani are just like him. A bunch of entitled rich kids who have no clue how lucky they are, and even less of a clue why they have been conditioned to hate America. They don’t know what it’s like to buy shoes two sizes too big so you don’t outgrow them before the end of the school year. To act as the translator for your parents at 6 years old. To claw your way from having nothing to achieving something. And today they celebrate, because they’re too dumb or radicalized or both to realize they’re falling for the same Islamist-Marxist lies that caused my parents to flee Iran in the first place. All to destroy a city that was once a hopeful refuge for millions of people who just wanted a better life. People like me and my family. What a sad, sad day. My heart is absolutely broken for NYC.

Earlier this morning, on President Trump's orders, I directed a lethal, kinetic strike on a narco-trafficking vessel affiliated with Designated Terrorist Organizations in the USSOUTHCOM area of responsibility. Four male narco-terrorists aboard the vessel were killed in the strike, and no U.S. forces were harmed in the operation. The strike was conducted in international waters just off the coast of Venezuela while the vessel was transporting substantial amounts of narcotics - headed to America to poison our people.   Our intelligence, without a doubt, confirmed that this vessel was trafficking narcotics, the people onboard were narco-terrorists, and they were operating on a known narco-trafficking transit route. These strikes will continue until the attacks on the American people are over!!!!

VP Harris... Respectfully, you guys did this to everyone from @joerogan to @jk_rowling - you cancelled comedians like @KevinHart4real , actors like @ginacarano , anchors like @sagesteele , scientists like @BrettWeinstein and @HeatherHeying, doctors like @SabinehazanMD , journalists like @AbigailShrier , athletes like @rileygaines you guys went after me for saying I didn't want Lizzo to get diabetes (still don't). You nailed anyone who said there are only two genders, for goodness sake. Instead of gaslighting people, just say, "This is shitty." Let's stop.
Kamala Harris@KamalaHarris

What we are witnessing is an outright abuse of power. This administration is attacking critics and using fear as a weapon to silence anyone who would speak out. Media corporations — from television networks to newspapers — are capitulating to these threats. We cannot dare to be silent or complacent in the face of this frontal assault on free speech. We, the People, deserve better.

Most Americans were unfamiliar with Charlie Kirk and his work, but very familiar with what he represented -- the American Dream. Young, beautiful wife, kids, righteous male authority, faith, optimism. He was real life Ward Cleaver, Jim Anderson, Mike Brady, Cliff Huxtable. Charlie was the antithesis of the antihero father of the last 40 years. America yearns for what Charlie had. That's why his death has triggered so much emotion. Charlie was Making America Feel Fathers Again, feel morality again, feel sacrifice again. We probably haven't felt that way since the 1960s, when JFK, MLK, and RFK (perhaps fraudulently) made us believe men of high character were working on America's problems. Charlie was not a grifter or an opportunist. In the era of influencers and ego, Charlie humbly worked to remove the scales from our eyes on very difficult issues. There are terrible consequences for sacrificing merit in the name of DEI. You can't fix racial discrimination with racial discrimination. You can't replace families with EBT cards and Section 8 housing. Shared values are more important than shared skin color. Charlie organized, hosted, and participated in the uncomfortable conversations most people avoid and/or shut down with name-calling and gatekeeping. Charlie was supposed to be the fruit derived from the necessary chaos of MAGA. And maybe he will be just that if we learn the right lessons from this tragedy. Erika Kirk represents the power of women in the right role. No way Charlie is as courageous and effective without that kind of Holy Spirit-filled woman having his back. I can't quit thinking about Charlie Kirk. What a legacy... We knew a boy named Charlie, as tall as a tree. A boy Rush Limbaugh inspired to love liberty. There was something different about Charlie, smart as a whip. When his friends went to college, Charlie skipped. Couldn't see it then, but God had a plan. He raised a disciple to travel the fallen land. I'm sorry, sweet Charlie, this world is so sick. You offered your enemies Christ's carrot, they swung sticks. When they couldn't defeat you, they retaliated with a bullet, Satan's last trick. I'm sorry, Charlie, my tears are not true. I weep for the courage to live and die like you.

My heart is filled with sorrow. I had some nice dialogue with Charlie, he instantly felt like an older much wiser brother even though he was younger than me. He was always trying to include me to come speak at his events. I don’t think he knew how hard public speaking is for me. My whole body shakes, my mind goes into survival mode & my voice quivers. I much prefer writing, fighting, acting & interviews in intimate settings. But alas, Charlie did find out how hard public speaking is for me in Vegas last year. I had originally just wanted to support Tulsi who was doing an event with the Common Kings in Vegas. I wanted to support her & be there for her, maybe just announce her or be backstage with her. Then Turning Point got involved & before you knew it, rumors that President Trump would be speaking swirled and came true. Of course I tried to back out once I realized they wanted me to speak. But Tulsi wasn’t having it. She gently encouraged me. So I decided to just write out my speech on paper & read it. The night came & I had missed my spot in the speaking line up because I was back stage taking a picture with President Trump who had 100’s of people he was taking pictures with before he went on to speak. I ran back to the stage & there were only Charlie & Tulsi left to speak before Trump would take the stage. I had the 6 pages in my hands, the lady on the stage seemed rushed & I looked at Charlie and said, “No it’s ok, I’m not good at public speaking, don’t worry about me.” He calmly looked at me & said, “Gina, they hear from me all the time, they need to hear from you. How many pages do you have?” I told him 6. The lady on the stage said, “Do you think you could keep it to 3 minutes please?” But Charlie kept eye contact with me & said, “Take my time, go out there & say what you need to say.” He gave me so much strength in that moment, my body shaking, I went out & summed up my 6 page speech to whatever I could muster. I was so proud I did it. It was short & sweet, the pages went out the window. I wanted to do it for my hometown, in front of my family, for my country. I felt I needed to & Charlie made sure I did. As soon as I walked behind the curtain I collapsed into Charlie’s chest. He held me for a few moments as I stabilized & then he walked out to give his speech. The lady who helped me off stage said, “oh my gosh you’re shaking!” I went back to my seat & sat with my mom & dad who were beaming with pride, I was still shaking. People patted me on my back & gave me hugs, the whole crowd knew I was nervous but it was ok. They cheered me on louder than most of the other speakers my dad said but of course he’d say that. ☺️ Sure felt that way. The audience saw my vulnerability & rooted for me. That was the atmosphere of this lovely crowd of people. And that was who Charlie was. He helped me conquer something that day. And since then I have gotten better when a microphone is handed to me. Charlie helped so many find their voices. He put the microphone in people’s hands, to be heard, to ask questions, to learn how to communicate. He was teaching us how to communicate. I am in complete awe of his bravery. He could’ve easily just stayed comfortable & been with his wife & children right now but he saw the need of keeping dialogue going & he risked his life everytime he went out there. He was a graceful genius with a heart for the Lord and he followed his calling. I am so happy Charlie is with the Lord now. He truly was the best of us & without a doubt the bravest. They took his body but they cannot take his spirit. I mourn for his wife, children & loved ones with my full heart & soul. God be with them. I am struggling with positivity as evil is rearing its ugly head. If I wasn’t so exhausted from sorrow I would be more enraged. My head is torturing me on repeat as I see Charlie shot & the blood gushing. All I can do right now is pray for justice & peace. God bless you Charlie Kirk. We will not forget you. ✝️

No one will ever fill this chair. But Charlie Kirk is a martyr. And martyrs only become more powerful. We must all, in our own poor and inadequate ways, seek to carry on Charlie’s mission. For Charlie. American Martyr. Christian Soldier. May we defeat the evil that stole him from us. So help us, God.

If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal. If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist. Yesterday, @patrickbetdavid walked on stage ready to lead a prayer for Charlie Kirk’s survival. Instead, he was struck with the heartbreaking news that Kirk had died. You could see the pain written all over his face as his eyes welled with tears. Yet in that moment, he delivered a powerful 3-minute message that everyone needs to hear right now.

A while ago, probably in 2017, I appeared on Tucker Carlson's Fox show to talk about God knows what. Afterwards a name I barely knew sent me a DM on twitter and told me I did a great job. It was Charlie Kirk, and that moment of kindness began a friendship that lasted until today. Charlie was fascinated by ideas and always willing to learn and change his mind. Like me, he was skeptical of Donald Trump in 2016. Like me, he came to see President Trump as the only figure capable of moving American politics away from the globalism that had dominated for our entire lives. When others were right, he learned from them. When he was right--as he usually was--he was generous. With Charlie, the attitude was never, "I told you so." But: "welcome." Charlie was one of the first people I called when I thought about running for senate in early 2021. I was interested but skeptical there was a pathway. We talked through everything, from the strategy to the fundraising to the grassroots of the movement he knew so well. He introduced me to some of the people who would run my campaign and also to Donald Trump Jr. "Like his dad, he's misunderstood. He's extremely smart, and very much on our wavelength." Don took a call from me because Charlie asked him too. Long before I ever committed (even in my mind) to running, Charlie had me speak to his donors at a TPUSA event. He walked me around the room and introduced me. He gave me honest feedback on my remarks. He had no reason to do this, no expectation that I'd go anywhere. I was polling, at that point, well below 5 percent. He did it because we were friends, and because he was a good man. When I became the VP nominee--something Charlie advocated for both in public and private--Charlie was there for me. I was so glad to be part of the president's team, but candidly surprised by the effect it had on our family. Our kids, especially our oldest, struggled with the attention and the constant presence of the protective detail. I felt this acute sense of guilt, that I had conscripted my kids into this life without getting their permission. And Charlie was constantly calling and texting, checking on our family and offering guidance and prayers. Some of our most successful events were organized not by the campaign, but by TPUSA. He wasn't just a thinker, he was a doer, turning big ideas into bigger events with thousands of activists. And after every event, he would give me a big hug, tell me he was praying for me, and ask me what he could do. "You focus on Wisconsin," he'd tell me. "Arizona is in the bag." And it was. Charlie genuinely believed in and loved Jesus Christ. He had a profound faith. We used to argue about Catholicism and Protestantism and who was right about minor doctrinal questions. Because he loved God, he wanted to understand him. Someone else pointed out that Charlie died doing what he loved: discussing ideas. He would go into these hostile crowds and answer their questions. If it was a friendly crowd, and a progressive asked a question to jeers from the audience, he'd encourage his fans to calm down and let everyone speak. He exemplified a foundational virtue of our Republic: the willingness to speak openly and debate ideas. Charlie had an uncanny ability to know when to push the envelope and when to be more conventional. I've seen people attack him for years for being wrong on this or that issue publicly, never realizing that privately he was working to broaden the scope of acceptable debate. He was a great family man. I was talking to President Trump in the Oval Office today, and he said, "I know he was a very good friend of yours." I nodded silently, and President Trump observed that Charlie really loved his family. The president was right. Charlie was so proud of Erika and the two kids. He was so happy to be a father. And he felt such gratitude for having found a woman of God with whom he could build a family. Charlie Kirk was a true friend. The kind of guy you could say something to and know it would always stay with him. I am on more than a few group chats with Charlie and people he introduced me to over the years. We celebrate weddings and babies, bust each other's chops, and mourn the loss of loved ones. We talk about politics and policy and sports and life. These group chats include people at the very highest level of our government. They trusted him, loved him, and knew he'd always have their backs. And because he was a true friend ,you could instinctively trust the people Charlie introduced you to. So much of the success we've had in this administration traces directly to Charlie's ability to organize and convene. He didn't just help us win in 2024, he helped us staff the entire government. I was in a meeting in the West Wing when those group chats started lighting up with people telling Charlie they were praying for him. And that's how I learned the news that my friend had been shot. I prayed a lot over the next hour, as first good news and then bad trickled in. God didn't answer those prayers, and that's OK. He had other plans. And now that Charlie is in heaven, I'll ask him to talk to big man directly on behalf of his family, his friends, and the country he loved so dearly. You ran a good race, my friend. We've got it from here.

Charlie Kirk wasn’t even controversial. He was moderate. He was conservative but by no means controversial. Imagine who else the Left is going to hunt down and murder on the right if they wanted to kill a guy who said “get married, have kids, there’s 2 genders, vote for Trump.” Everyone needs to be very careful in their public surroundings. The Trump administration needs to start arresting everyone on the Left who promotes violence. All of the Leftist groups that pay for these radical protests need to be prosecuted. Enough is enough. More people will be murdered if the Left isn’t crushed with the power of the state.
