@TheAinley @Luiz_Fernando_J IMAX have to hire in a 70mm projectionist to run the screenings in MCR so that may be the reason. Dune 2 was shown only in duel laser at the print works, hopefully they will have the confidence they had in Oppenheimer and hire in the projectionist for the entire run.

@bstuartTI Serious question, no snark… if the AI is doing that much for you automatically (including editing I assume), what would anyone be directing? I get you have to do the starter image and some prompting, but not much else?

The world isn't ready for this. But I am. Seedance 2.0 is going to drastically change filmmaking forever. I'm not being hyperbolic. This is 1 detailed prompt with 5 cuts specified and a single starter image. That's it. It's time to start directing.

@thunderbolt5827 @fixyourheartsor @Darren_Mooney Totally agreed on that. Should have clarified I was more speaking about DC rather than the medium as a whole. That collection beyond missing year one and V for vendetta and some vertigo books is pretty much the golden children of DC.

- it’s foolish to assume a 13 year old will consequently be unable to enjoy anything less than the selection presented. -This is just not something that happens because a lot of people start off with a lot of these comics. - 13 year olds don’t have taste yet, they will enjoy slop. One of my introductions to comics as a teenager was Batman Year One and at the same tome I was also enjoying the Injustice comics just as much. - Some of the entries in this selection I wouldn’t put among the best. -There’s a lot of other good comics out there. The statements doesnt do justice to the breadth of the medium. -pricing is less of an issue if you can pirate, which I’m guessing the younger generation has a handle on.

If you're into movies, you will quickly watch all of the Kubricks and whatnot, and then there other masterpiecs out there but you must search

I implore everyone to just do the poor man’s process, but steer clear of rear projection. TV’s are quite inexpensive these days, we all have one, so pair one, ideally two with just a few lights and you’ll get a final product just as good as the real thing, reflections included.
