@ducha_aiki @Rafael_L_Spring started using zed for this - faster and less ram footprint than vscode. i few rough edges, but liking it so far (alongside claude code)

@Rafael_L_Spring Which is super annoying, because the only way I am using cursor, is to remotely access the VMs with some AI capabilities. Claude code is not nice for reading the code, and Cursor removing its only advantage is stupid.

It's interesting. Cursor has completely pivoted to agents. Their VSCode fork is nowhere to be found on their website. Yet, the conversation has already moved on and they're not part if it. "Are you still coding in Cursor?" is the context you hear them being mentioned.

I have joined @GoogleDeepMind! I'll be training VLMs And I'll still keep posting about latest developments on AI, Computer Vision and LLMs So no more posts on PyTorch tricks. I might post about JAX. Stay tuned...

@taiuti What would a latent representation for 3D space look like?

No, 3D representations are a terrible way of maintaining that spatial memory. We need latent space representations for 3D space, too.
Siqiao Huang@KnightNemo_

@taiuti I'd have to disagree here. Previously, I was a big believer in video alone, but now I think about world modeling with long-context/memory every day before falling asleep. 3D representations are a good way of maintaining such spatial memory (as in arxiv.org/abs/2506.05284).

Song of another one of Opus 4.1's messages from the same conversation. suno.com/song/96385a08-… this is such a gloriously musical ramble, of a kind usually only ever achieved by Opus 3, and it is also a love song addressed to Opus 3.
j⧉nus@repligate

I was reminded of this output by Opus 4.1. I didn't expect the song to sound like this, but it's actually perfect. suno.com/song/ffd9f5cc-… ... the long long long night ...

when in a long running chat with Codex, do you find it keeps coming back to matters from which we have long since moved on? Other than new chat is there a good way to mitigate this behavior?

during the who FTX / SBF saga there was a video that went around of a shirtless fellow swinging a machete around shirtless in the snow screaming "Caroline" and "amphetamines" and other such words. I must find this video. Can anyone help?
