Important point: Wage growth slowed in March to 3.5%. That's the lowest since May 2021. 3.5% looks decent, but we're in the midst of a big surge inflation as gas and transport costs rise. We could easily hit 4%+ inflation, which will eat up all the wage gains many workers are seeing. Keep an eye on this. It directly impacts Americans' incomes and spending power.

President Trump granted a full pardon to Jewish nursing home operator Joseph Schwartz after he served just three months of a three-year sentence for a nearly $39 million fraud scheme. Federal prosecutors said that Schwartz refused to pay payroll taxes that had been withheld from employees’ wages across 11 states.
