@jacobvanags Yes! It’s restaurants that lead to a playground. Why would they design stairs that basically assure you trip after a few drinks?

Who can tell me why these stairs are poorly designed? There is only one right answer.

@streamyardapp how long does it normally take for support to respond to a ticket? I'm on an advanced trial, considering a switch... but haven't heard back for 2 days on one question

When you see someone whose behavior doesn’t make any sense, keep in mind that from their point of view, it’s your behavior that doesn’t make any sense; mentally do it at scale, and you will understand society.

@AlexHormozi A lot of comment guys here but here's the corrected tweet anyway I know it’s hard for you to believe that someone really can put in 10,000 times more work than you, but they can. and that’s how they can achieve 10,000x the outcome. output = volume x leverage

So I'm on a Zoom call with a franchise prospect last Tuesday... And he drops this bomb on me: "I've been researching franchises for 18 months now." 18 months. EIGHTEEN. MONTHS. I'm like, "Cool, sooooo you're ready to move forward?" "Well, I'm still comparing a few more options. Want to make sure I pick the perfect one." Here's the thing that I realized after having literally hundreds of these conversations... The people who actually pull the trigger versus the ones who research forever is NOT about money. It's not about experience. It's not even about the "perfect" opportunity. It comes down to four things. And once you understand these, everything changes. POOF - The Four Killers: P - Procrastination O - Overwhelm O - Overthinking F - Fear (I tried really hard to make the acronym POOP but couldn’t find a better substitute for Fear) Let me break down how to actually eliminate each of these 4 Killers: Procrastination (Killer #1) → Desire (the fix) When someone is crystal clear on what they want - like really crystal clear - there's no procrastination. They move fast because they know exactly where they're going. But most people? They're trying to eat healthy instead of wanting to eat healthy. Big difference. The goal isn't to start a franchise. The goal is to want it so bad you can taste it. When your desire hits 11/10, procrastination dies. Overwhelm (Killer #2) → Prioritization (the fix) Sounds boring as hell, I know. But people just don't do it. A guy last month told me he has a checklist of 32 different things he needed to "figure out" before buying a franchise. Thirty-two! The winners? They ask one question: "What's the ONE thing that moves me forward today?" Still hard work. But it doesn't have to be guesswork. Overthinking (Killer #3) → Constraints (the fix) If you're an overthinker, congrats - you probably have a higher than normal IQ. You're so smart that you're actually dumb. You can see everything that could go wrong, every scenario, every risk. But here's the cure: artificial constraints. Example: if you need to pay your electricity bill or it gets shut off in 30 minutes, I promise you, you'll figure it out real quick and get that solved. Same principle. "I'm buying a franchise by August 26th". And post it on social media. Suddenly all that analysis becomes laser-focused action. Fear (Killer #4) → Action (the fix) My favorite quote: "Action creates clarity." Sometimes we sit around for months getting ready to get ready. But you can't see the path until you start walking. Fear paralyzes. Action illuminates. It's like holding a lamp in a video game…you only see as far as you move. The franchise prospects who succeed? They feel the fear and take the first step anyway. Because they know the next step will reveal itself. Real talk: 18-month research guy is still researching. Meanwhile, the person I talked to last week already signed their franchise agreement and starts training next month. Same opportunities. Different approach to POOF. P.S. - If you've been "researching" anything for more than 3 months, you're not researching anymore. You're hiding.

Is anyone else’s ChatGPT overly glazing them with compliments lately? Me: “Hey ChatGPT, can you fix this sentence?” ChatGPT: “Of course, brilliant wordsmith and master of ideas!” Am I being gaslit?

@NeelBParekh I explored a language learning idea in depth a month or so ago and it was so complimentary that I asked it if it was just being nice or the idea was pure genius. It responded that the idea was genius and that I could change the face of language learning with it.
