@carlosbufe99 @DoctorLFC She most likely hasn't been to her native state or can speak two sentences in her native language. Just having an Indian name isn't going to make her connected to India.

The look on her face and the disdain in her voice when she mentions anything related to India for her Indian origin father tells you everything you need to know about her. Indian origin people have successfully taken even the racism jobs from the Americans.
Mukhtar@I_amMukhtar

Remember Priya Patel, who recently went viral for telling immigrants to assimilate and was then told by a white supremacist to "shut up, do OnlyFans, and leave the US." Well, she was on Piers Morgan’s show, where she seemed embarrassed to admit that her dad is Indian.

Really sad that Raghav Chadha has been asked to step down before he could raise many more important issues like how cheese in Dominos Cheese Burst Pizza has gone down drastically 😠

Three things missing on Nike collapse. 1. Focus on retro cushed them. Literally embracing a customer growing older. 2. Today’s kid doesn’t get excited about the swoosh. They lost all buzz. My boys would rather GOAT or The Drip Shop. 3. Completely abandoned storytelling.
Aakash Gupta@aakashgupta

Nike wiped out $200B+ in market cap since November 2021. And the chart actually understates how bad it is. This company made one bet that destroyed everything: the direct-to-consumer pivot. During COVID, Nike's online sales surged, and management convinced themselves the stay-at-home economy was permanent. They pulled product from Foot Locker, Dick's, and thousands of wholesale partners to push buyers through Nike.com and Nike stores. That ceded physical shelf space to On Running, Hoka, New Balance, and every competitor happy to fill the void. By the time Nike brought Elliott Hill in as CEO, customers had already moved on. The China numbers are staggering. Seven straight quarters of declining revenue. Greater China sales dropped 17% last quarter. Next quarter Nike expects a 20% plunge. Meanwhile Lululemon is posting double-digit growth in the same market. Anta and Li-Ning are eating Nike's share from below. Nike's China revenue contribution fell from 18.6% in 2021 to 14.2% in 2025. Yesterday Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, and Bank of America all downgraded the stock on the same day. Net income fell 35% year over year. Gross margin has declined for seven consecutive quarters. And the stock still trades at 38x forward earnings, a premium over the S&P 500 average of 22x. This is what a slow-motion brand collapse looks like with a luxury multiple attached to it. The turnaround keeps getting pushed further out. Management promised growth by early 2027. Wall Street priced that in. Now it's late 2027 at best. The scariest part: Nike is still the #1 sportswear company by market cap. If this is what #1 looks like, the rest of the industry is running a different race entirely.

@anmolm_ @SarvamAI Just found out about your podcast because of this tweet. Surprised the views are not somewhat higher given the demand for specific knowledge in the space. Hope you get your inflection point soon.

@Sharanyashettyy Yeah for many it fell into the vicarious/aspirational category. On a lighter note, here's a fun fact.

If you go by his recent activity, it's very obvious that he wants to project himself as the man for the common people, likely to want to appeal to people as the next or better Kejriwal. The "issues" that he picked up are also those that drive social media chatter and appeal to the keyboard warriors' emotion, be it gig workers (without understanfing economics or what their trade off costs are), "fair" use of clips for online creators (without understanding copyright law). It would have been a smart thing to do but the way he is going about it is not only cringe but also unsophisticated which is likely not going to make him the hero of the aam aadmi that he thinks he can become.

What @raghav_chadha has failed to mention is that the platform companies have been in conversation with the Central Govt and various state govts (across party lines) for the past several years for enacting fair rules for gig worker welfare. I have personally spoken to govt officials and ministers and given inputs. Some states have already passed laws around this. Eternal has been supportive and our inputs have been received by well intentioned governments that want growth and gig worker welfare both. This has been an ongoing effort for five years now. Mr. Chadha has come late to the party and without trying to understand the situation and without adding anything constructive to the conversation has merely tried to cause disruption and seek attention for himself on social media. He is trying to jump on the bandwagon and claim credit. We support the Central Govt and are thankful for their leadership in this matter we are also supportive and appreciative of all the state governments that have taken initiatives around this. We have worked with all of them. We are and always will follow the law. In fact for us the law is merely the minimum to be adhered to
Raghav Chadha@raghav_chadha

Congratulations to all Gig Workers and Delivery Partners. There is good news for you. Central Government’s draft Social Security Rules are the first step towards recognition, protection and dignity for your work. Even though the Platforms (Zomato, Swiggy, Blinkit, etc.) chose not to listen to your voices, the people of this country and the government did. This is a small win, but an important win.

Abstract is at #7 by weekly revenue among all chains right now. Real question: once the big activations go live.. where do you think @AbstractChain will be? 👀

@ProofOfEly If this is true, the giga bullish community members need to wake up. Will be funny if they spin this to something bullish saying abstract is for AI agents. That chapter is going to close soon too.

@jaggedah @mainbhiengineer nah it is a logical assumption considering unemployed people in some countries get paid by the government just cause they are unemployed the least government can do is not benifit from someone losing their source of livelyhood If you can't help them atleast don't hurt them more

So many layoffs happening, India should immediately make severance pay tax free. It is ethically, morally, financially wrong to tax someone who is at their worst possible stage of life after job loss. If you can't support your taxpayers directly, atleast don't punish them.
