@MattSkene A little, it is still a bit early. .some of the passing and play was amateurish. We’ve had this problem in every transfer window, i do like the business we’ve done but we really need some more similar quality to Fatawu & Diop

Admittedly its a makeshift side learning to play GoN’s way but i’m concerned about what i saw. Could be long season if we dint get a no 9 and another decent CM, even a better LB than Davis #itfc

@mark__heath @rossmediauk @alexnljones @Stuart_Watson Question, Mark, I've got an EADT subsription through my google account so does that carry over the KOA? Either way I've noticed the Google link on the log in page doesn't work as per attached image.

@Alex_DiPrima I don't see the point he's making much less the strawman he's refuting. There has always been an emphasis in Reformed circles on preaching Christ from the whole bible, not one testament over the other. The issue is how we understand doing that. ie not shoehorning him in.

This concern from Sinclair Ferguson about the danger of Christo-monism and its possible connection to the contemporary enthusiasm over preaching Christ from the Old Testament is worth contemplating, especially given Ferguson’s pastoral experience and theological pedigree.

@Enterprise very annoyed, got a call from your dundee office today, 2 days before we were due to collect a minibus/van, to say that they’d been recalled due to a battery issue. Totally unacceptable especially as the solutions offered are inadequate. Please help.

@james832202 @Stuart_Watson Talks ongoing. Not one Ipswich will look to rush, I don’t think, as he’s a free agent. Player will want to consider all options and Ipswich will do the same as they look to strengthen midfield.

Abdul Fatawu completed his medical yesterday and is set to be announced as a new #itfc player shortly, joining from #LCFC for £20m + £3m. Issa Diop completed the first part of his medical today as Ipswich look to progress the £8.5m agreement to bring him in from #FFC.

@ostrachan The Sabbath Day as outlined in the laws of Moses is definitely fulfilled. Thats why Sunday, the Lord’s Day is not a sabbath because we dont anticipate rest, we live in it with knowledge of the final rest coming. But the sabbath principal is still active.

The Sabbath is fulfilled in Christ (Matt. 11:28-30). I respect the views of friends who disagree. But we live by the FINISHED work of Christ. We possess rest *at all times.* We need not enforce Sabbath-keeping, whether at home or in society. Jesus the Fulfiller has come!

So why wasn’t Saka starting many of the games in the tournament? And why did he never come on when we needed his skill on wedkesday? Answers on a postcard #FRAENG

@TheAthleticFC Its obvious we shpuld added fresh attacking legs earlier. Saka and Rashford were obvious choices, and switching it so that Rodgers went centrally and Bellingham was deeper. Tuchel failed to be forward thinking, its that clear cut.

Many England fans thought things would be different under Thomas Tuchel: more sophisticated, more astute. Instead, we saw what always happens with England at tournaments — a bright start, then a fade to grey. Rather than changing the team’s identity, Tuchel adjusted to his players’ cultural habits — and paid the price. @Zonal_Marking 🔗 nyti.ms/4yooPdd

@mark__heath Tbh if Tuchel hadnt messed up the tactics by being negative, Messi would have been a non factor.

Difference between being good and being truly great innit. Messi is different gravy, and that gives the players around him unbelievable belief, even when they’re up against it. What a player 🙌🏻

@adrianjclarke Trouble is Adrian this has been England throughout tye tournament. We could have easily been more expansive and positive but once you cede that much ground it was inevitable. Tuchel was the problem, really not sure what the solution is

That collapse is mostly on the manager I’m afraid. Tuchel is an upgrade on Southgate but tactically he’s had a nightmare in the last half hour. Sitting so deep against Messi, Enzo & co is a recipe for disaster.

Well that was predictable. Tuchel was far too negative in the end. As soon as Konza came on for Gordon we gave up. We should have been more positive. But i never felt we’d win. #ENGARG
