BREAKING: The UAE just announced that its gas production is now zero and operations at major natural gas facilities have been suspended. Trump is causing a world energy crisis. Oil just hit $114/barrel. Gas is $3.88 per gallon. That’s 75 cents higher than it was when Biden left office.

Louisiana has been a national model for showing that data center projects can be structured in a way that not only protects the power reliability of existing customers on the power grid, but provides them with real savings, too. Louisiana has some of the lowest power rates in the country, and Entergy’s commitment to having data centers pay their fair share will help us maintain that success. We will continue to work with the Louisiana Legislature and the Louisiana Public Service Commission to ensure that all new large power users on our state’s grid pay for their own power and help provide real savings to families and businesses across Louisiana.
Entergy@Entergy

We're announcing $5 billion in total savings for 2.3 million customers in Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi because of data center customer agreements. 🤝 Learn more ➡️ enter.gy/6010hC6es #WePowerLife

It’s deeply disappointing to see the Supreme Court strike down President Trump’s tariffs. This decision hands a bailout to shrimpers in India and Vietnam while undercutting hardworking Louisiana families. These tariffs were about leveling the playing field and protecting our seafood industry from unfair foreign competition. President Trump needs reinforcements in the U.S. Senate who will stand up for Louisiana workers and fight for fair trade - because without fair trade, there is no America First.

@ginamilan_ If you're rooting for a president that overstepped his powers and was reigned in by a Supreme Court that has mostly sided with him until now, you hate America, and probably yourself.

Less than 3 minutes into the Ken Burns documentary on the American Revolution, and we get: 1. White people are bad. 2. Native Americans had a centuries-old democracy before British colonists arrived. 3. Benjamin Franklin copied the Native American blueprint.

@rileybeesley @UUtah I get that women run from you faster than your own hairline and none have never trusted you enough to ask for help, but sometimes they just need someone else to help them find a tampon. This makes everyone's life a little easier in those circumstances.

@dfossier How much of that shift is from people who moved here during the pandemic, when remote work was at its peak? Also, why are you so obsessed with a city you don't even live in?

Socialism and Communism are coming to a town near you - unless you stand up and let your voice of common sense be heard. While Democrats hitch their wagon to the socialist agenda, Republicans are fighting on behalf of hard-working Americans.

At what point do Democrats finally do the RIGHT THING? Air traffic controllers, SNAP benefits, our military — all being hurt by this shutdown. It’s clear to EVERYONE that Democrats care more about their political careers than the people they claim to represent. Even their own studies say Democrats are seen as WEAK, WOKE, and OUT OF TOUCH — and they prove it every day.

@RepHaridopolos So we're just skipping over the economy that lost Trump the election in 2020? Or the reasons interest rates are being cut? Or the recent reports showing inflation is rising?

In January, Democrats handed us the worst economy in years. Eleven months later, taxes are coming down, inflation is falling, interest rates are down, and the stock market is breaking records. We’re fixing their mess, step by step. Let’s open the government and get to work.

@DanCrenshawTX If you cared about working class families you would at least try to compromise on their behalf. The GOP has proven it can't be trusted to negotiate in good faith, so this is on you and your fellow Republicants.

Good job Democrats. You broke another stupid record: Longest govt shutdown in history. Congratulations on accomplishing nothing except hurting working class families across the federal government that aren’t getting paychecks, screwing up people’s travel at airports, and of course ceasing funding to help the poor. No new grants for research, no new life-saving treatments approved at FDA. All on hold because Democrats think this is “winning.”

Democrats are NOT “fighting for health care.” They CREATED the (UN)Affordable Care Act — which has made costs SKYROCKET.  Now, they want to subsidize insurance companies with even MORE taxpayer money to hide their policy failures. Republicans are actually making health care more affordable — ending waste, fraud, and abuse, protecting care for seniors, the disabled, and pregnant women, and saving taxpayers BILLIONS. If the media were honest, that would be in every story they write.

@SandMar125 @BasedMikeLee If you recall, that was the way it was before the ACA and prices were much cheaper. The ACA made them cover everything and that’s not needed for most people. So yes, we would be better off. I was much better off.
