It’s 100% selfish to think you have the right to kick people in need (more need than you btw) out of their homes. Untill Labour gets rid of its Tory yimbys it’s never going to deliver the change we need.

These ‘well paid graduates’ you speak of are often earning close to minimum wage in the capital city for doing a high stakes job, living in a tiny attic in zone 5. Why on earth is it selfish to want to change this reality for people who contribute daily to our economy?

It amazes me how in one broad sweep he dismisses concerns on the Greens opposing affordable and social housing in the borough because it ‘doesn’t affect anyone’. Then in the very next sentence he goes on to complain about the decrepit state of housing and mould problems…

@DanicaPriest @max_abdulgani The person who raised you should have got you more involved because if you were, you'd know this is simply untrue. Project timelines often get pushed back due to rules around what can occur when due to mating/nesting habits of different animals. It's genuinely infuriating.

This is precisely the area of discourse the Centre-Right needs to occupy. We *do* want to build at a much faster pace than current. But that also means gaining public consent for it - something only attainable by ending and reversing mass migration.

If anything, we are better positioned to defend Taiwan than we are Ukraine. We are a maritime power after all.
We do business with China because the government can only facilitate growth through international investment as they’re unwilling to implement any meaningful economic reforms.

As for China, my attitude through various governments, is that we shit or get off the pot. We do *massive* amounts of business with China. If they are an evil tyranny bent intent on world domination?
Then we stop doing it.
