It’d be nice to watch the last 22km, but iPlayer coverage seems to disappear at that point only to reappear after the finish. Anyone know where it goes, after Day 8 Extra Daytime?

Now, all that the redesigned cycle path in Nevill Road/Allen Road is missing are flashing lights indicating the slight turn, and then it’ll be finished!

This is still happening. No mention of this new “feature” in your Product Enhancements, or the documentation.

@travisci failing builds seem to have started running their “deploy” steps, contrary to all expectation.

@StokeyUpdates @raynoldchow Your picture is from before the previous layout, though. This latest change seems to be built to make it easier to enter from Allen Road, at the expense of those cycling down the (higher volume) CS1 route.

@raynoldchow Here’s the section before the recent redesign. The road was closed off in the 1980s. Photos are from 2008, 2012 and 2020.

Thinking of the young woman killed this Tuesday. "We still see 7 or so cyclists die every year on London’s streets. Cycling remains incredibly statistically safe despite this, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that each death is horrendous.” islingtontribune.co.uk/article/anothe…

@billhulley @carlafrancome @dawescycles Contemporary references, innit? Mine’s younger than Carla’s: the frame number dates to 95, though I bought it new in 98 (or was it 99? I have the receipt, somewhere), and is gradually becoming an embodiment of Trigger’s broom/ Ship of Theseus.

It’s a new bike day!!! 🤩🤩🤩 Diana @dawescycles has arrived from her previous home in Exeter (via bike shop Cycle Scuderia for packing) and I LOVE HER. She is so light I can pick her up with ease, and she’s handmade- her frame also glitters in the light … 1/4

@benedictevans It will be interesting, I think, to see how the Quest product line transforms in its next iterations. Will we see an Android, post-“iPhone reveal”, change in direction?

‘All of the units would be for private sale because, according to the plans, a financial viability assessment shows the scheme “is unable to support provision of any affordable housing”.’ (so, a fundraiser rather than any real desire to house more people?)

Please change it back @Twitter - it’s bloody annoying having to change to people I follow every time I reopen the app - I assume you’ve done this because everyone preferred this as the default setting when you let people save the setting

@SpotMonkey @IsSaddleThereIs It was pretty good, when the pump was working, but the real problem was that they wanted to build on the land where it popped back up…

@IsSaddleThereIs Think the subway was before my time, I've only known the toucan. Could be worse, could be a parallel zebra. Then you'd never get traffic to stop. Unfortunately underpasses have a bad reputation and lots of people avoid. Also difficult with child seats/trailers.

Cycleway, my arse! @issaddlethereis.bsky.social
This is what Haringey and/or TfL called an upgrade some while back. Removing a separate (albeit narrow) cycle track that went under the horribly busy Monument Way and replacing it with painted lines and a crossing where you wait ages to cross is regularly blocked.
