@mviefrk_108 Docter has the excuse that he can’t direct anymore now that he is Pixar’s leader. Plus, the films directed by Pixar’s own in-house directors would have other writers. Incredibles however, came from an outside director who writes the scripts and directs them. (1/2)

Maybe this is a hot take but I would like to see another director take on this franchise, I don’t really need to see Brad Bird return and I don’t think he needs to be the only one who can direct these movies. If People can be ok with Pete Doctor not returning to direct any of the sequels to his movies why can’t we give Incredibles to someone else

A new ‘INCREDIBLES’ movie is being considered at Pixar. (Source: bloomberg.com/news/features/…)

@AKlay19 Let's be realistic, bob iger acquired pixar in 2006 just to get "john lasseter" apart of disney, I mean john lasseter was pixar, and then bob iger and disney as a whole disgustingly fires him,

@jamesshaun2002 It may be less worth it nowadays unless Pixar really bounces back at the box office again. I’m just saying that their mindset of doing it was at least backed by the results of their movies.

@AKlay19 I'm so glad that disney is now animating moana 2 in canada, I hope more disney movies are animated in canada, rather than california, and also disney are losing tax breaks, teenage mutant ninja turtles was animated both in France and canada, disney should do the same

@AKlay19 No, $200m is not worth it...$50m-$100m is reasonable, but the biggest problem is disney is choosing to animate fully inhouse at california...there is animation studios in canada, UK and French who'd love to animate a disney movie, but disney isn't allowing it....

Disney shit the bed with Pixar so bad it’s maddening. Luca and Turning Red had massive appeal and got great numbers on D+. The problem isn’t their autobiographical nature. It’s that Disney made them free and conditioned audiences to expect it going forward.

#TheGarfieldMovie is not good. It’s a shame because it can be cute (especially with Odie) and starts out as zany fun. But it devolves into dull, groan-worthy kiddie fare that’s as lazy as its titular cat. I suppose it’s harmless for small kids, but they can do better than this.

This is going to be a weird June at the box office. There's going to be so much pressure on INSIDE OUT 2 to overperform and have a $100M opening, which seems an unfair expectation to place on it, given how Pixar's last 2 movies did in this timeframe.

Against all odds, #TheFallGuy is posting strong legs at US #BoxOffice thanks to its positive WOM! #RyanGosling & #EmilyBlunt’s action romcom grossed solid 565k on 4th WED, just a -23.5% drop from last WED, (vs #TheLostCity 596k, -19.5% #BulletTrain 525k, -34.5%) And that despite its release on digital with 20 extra minutes last TUE & after losing -890 theatres last FRI due to that. The action romcom hits a 75.5M cume in the U.S. Eyeing a 85M-95M run in the U.S.

@DEADLINE We need studios and networks to go back to the 22-24 episodes per season...remember at the start of a shows 5th season they reach the 100 episode mark, now its 7 or 8 season their reach the 100 episodes

Inside Out 2 now tracking for $85M domestic debut, per NRG numbers. That’ll go up, right? First one opened to $90M in 2015.

@jamesshaun2002 @Kung_Fu_Cthulhu @Luiz_Fernando_J Why was nearly every studio and production company making movies for streaming the last few years dumping billions into it and now have almost all stopped or cut back dramatically including Netflix? Universal is the last one to jump off the train. Simple as that.
