Did this tour in Kauai and then I learned you go thru all kinds of micro-climates as you do it. Decided I never wanted to get in a helicopter again after that one and feeling how much a gust of wind rocks the helicopter. No thanks, I like breathing.

Helicopter Crashes Off Hawaii Coast, Leaving Multiple Dead and Injured A helicopter crashed into the ocean off the coast of Hawaii on Thursday afternoon, leaving at least three people dead and two others injured. Authorities say the incident occurred near Kalalau Beach along Kauaʻi’s north shore, a popular area for scenic air tours. According to the Kauaʻi Police Department, dispatchers received reports of the crash around 3:45 p.m. The aircraft, operated by Airborne Aviation, was carrying one pilot and four passengers at the time. Officials confirmed three fatalities, while two survivors were transported to Wilcox Medical Center for treatment. The crash site is known for its dramatic cliffs, beaches, and waterfalls along the Nā Pali Coast.

@Cat_lucy1 A long time ago I read something that said “What is life without the pursuit of mastery?” It’s not so important what you’re trying to master and do good at, just that you have that pursuit. Could just be raising a happy family. But it stuck with me that purpose is crucial.

I can't stop thinking about what someone in Venezuela told me when I was there this month. He's unemployed and like many, desperately struggles for money. He said a few years ago, he wanted to end his life. He was alone, felt completely useless bc he had no job/money and didn't see the point in living. But then he decided to keep on going, so he could one day see his kids that left the country years ago due to the economic situation, and so that one day he could see a 'free and democratic Venezuela.' That was his goal.
I can't stop thinking about it - that he felt so useless because he couldn't find work, he didn't see the point in living. Although he still gets down, he feels positive - even excited about the future.

- Anthropic = 21%
- OpenAI = 10%
- SpaceX = 5%
- Databricks = 18%

$VCX has a NAV of $19 per share. This morning it just traded at $312.
That means the market is valuing a $650 million fund at $5.4 billion 🤯
Investors are paying an 8x premium just to touch these companies.
Why? Because the most important companies being built right now refuse to go public. And people are so desperate for exposure that they will pay almost anything to get it.
The private markets are sitting on trillions in value that public investors have been locked out of and this stampede tells you everything about how much hype there will be around these IPOs.
