A plaque was installed today by @HistEnvScot to remember #AndrewKeir, Actor on stage, screen and film. Andrew started his acting career while living on Greenhead St in #Bridgeton A little local fact that was almost forgotten but now successfully saved ❤️

This morning, @WeAreSanctuary brutally tore down these beautiful 133 year-old sandstone cupolas on James Sellars' original 1888 ward pavilion at the Victoria Infirmary. A flagrant and unnecessary act of architectural vandalism. As if they haven't debased their reputation enough.

@PaulJSweeney @scotgov SIMD map is always interesting to layer over infrastructure investment plans. I guess my key point is that Glasgow has so many hurdles ahead of these massive infrastructure ideas. I feel money could impact people's lives much more quickly/directly with much simpler changes.

@janebriggs77 @scotgov Another major physical intervention with the motorway should be to address the blight caused by the over-engineered Townhead interchange and Springburn Expressway that severs Royston and Springburn from the city centre and Dennistoun.

We could do this at Woodside and Charing Cross, instead of spending hundreds of millions of pounds rebuilding a vile concrete monstrosity that creates dangerous noise and air pollution, sterilising the surrounding districts.
But this would require @scotgov vision and leadership.
