FWIW, the linked chart from our paper shows wage growth through September of 2022. And it's true, the median wage did not do well in 2022. The good news is that it's been doing a lot better in 2023, and has now caught up to trend based on 2015-2019 in real terms.

Nate's angry because he's a truly embarrassing pundit and got his website got taken away from him, and made a laughable error trying to read my graph earlier. So as you'd expect he's also totally wrong about the followup: real wage growth in 2023 is on trend for the last decade.





Just to put this in context, republicans cannot even agree to debate the pentagon spending bill. This bill usually passes by big margins. It failed twice this week. Kevin mccarthys House Republicans are in a state of crisis.
