@Austen Not gonna lie but every tech company will replace their CRM in the future to gain advantage. We are getting rid of ours next month

We actually did this - replaced Salesforce with software we built in house. It took two engineers about half their time for maybe a month to replace everything we used Salesforce for. No “custom AWS architecture” lol. Saved us like a quarter million dollars per year.

Salesforce is finished I built my own CRM from scratch all it took was: • a team of 47 engineers • custom AWS infrastructure • 6 months of development costs $85,000/month to maintain but I'm saving $150/month per seat for my 3 sales reps

feels like someone should make a new webflow that's claude code native we're on webflow but at a certain complexity the components start becoming too rigid and complex + requires someone to deeply understand webflow manage it feels like there's room for a site builder/agency that manages the actual technical complexity of a site that non-technical people still shouldn't touch, while also making it possible to have a layer that the non-technical people can vibe code on e.g. making one-off landing pages but keep the same analytics infra, let me vibe code interactive components into posts, etc

#github needs to really invest more now as they are hitting the frustration tipping point that might cause a stampede of people to leave.

@kellabyte Agreed. It could be half as complex which is why so many love golang

@jaredwray I struggle with the syntax and readability but I am brand new. I really enjoy simple languages as I get older 😂

Damn Rust build times are so much slower than in Go.

My friend just one-shotted iOS, Android, Windows, MacOS, and Linux apps with Rust Multiplatform. If you're considering React Native or Flutter for a new app, please reach out. I think we've made something that's much better. You write the core once in Rust, test it in Rust, and then write stateless rendering with native UI toolkits with reactive rendering based on Rust state. This was always the dream and now it's easy. Will publish docs and guides in next week.

Talking with a team member and now that we are coding with #AI assistance we are considering just going to Typescript + Rust and leaving #golang. The biggest downside with #rust has always been the syntax. AI just removes that barrier.
