My sincere apologies to the brave people of Iran. Everyone is about to backstab you. Your Arab neighbors and your allies in the West seem more eager to reopen the Strait of Hormuz than to confront the monsters ruling your regime. This war began because of the mass slaughter of innocent, unarmed civilians and because of the regime’s growing nuclear and ballistic missile threat. The Strait of Hormuz was blocked as a consequence of that war, yet now the world’s focus no longer seems to be on confronting the very reasons the war began, but rather on minimizing the economic fallout that followed.
