@jmutrades To be fair, every brokerage has issues especially with these prop accounts. No firm really gives you anything other than a fresh account or a free reset. On the rare occasion when it affects enough people, they erase the losses for the day. It’s the same across the board

🚨 UPDATE FROM TOPSTEP 🚨 After a week-long review, @Topstep acknowledged there was a platform disruption where pending orders failed to fill. I had hard stops in place and price clearly traded through them with visible liquidity. Instead of executing, the platform lagged for ~15 seconds, filled nearly 50 points beyond my stop levels, and failed to flatten follower accounts when the leader exited — instantly blowing multiple accounts that were within ~$900 of passing. This wasn’t volatility. It wasn’t slippage. It wasn’t trader error. Despite admitting order lag and execution issues, @AskTopstep refused to restore the accounts or apply a profit correction, offering only reset credits. Their explanation was that profit adjustments only apply if an account ends the day in profit — even when a platform failure is what prevented that outcome in the first place. If a platform acknowledges execution failure but won’t restore traders to their pre-incident state, is an accountability issue if you’re not giving Your support team a way to make it right @MichaelPatak

@Joeytrades11 Everything about it is misleading. A 50k account gives you roughly 2k of drawdown but allows you to trade at least 5 contracts. Most people in props trade NQ. If you wanted to trade 5 NQ you need at least 5k in your account. It’s all just an illusion really.

I think prop firms should name their accounts by drawdown. Instead of 50k account it’s 3k account. People talking about that got 50k allocation. No bro. You got 3k.
