@jaynay1 Would be very interested to see the study, particularly the date on it! Unfortunately, a lot of this is based on my experience with players explicitly telling me that when they play with other high-volume guys, they look for shots earlier, trying to protect their market value.

Years ago I started to talk about what I called “Usage Crunch.” The usage rate of a lineup is always 100%. If you take five players whose preferred style of play results in a 25% usage rate, you don’t get a 125% usage rate. You get a lot of bad shots early in the shot clock.

@GoodmanHoops 94th percentile on post ups, 96th percentile from the dunker, 95th percentile as a roller, led the country in dunks per game. Felt pretty dominant.

@draftballr It's also worth pointing out that it wasn't just the Graves screenshot -- in the hours following site release, 2/3 of our new posts were either draftballr screenshots or draftballr support requests(?) for some reason.

@draftballr And like "This number is bigger than this number" is not discussion -- it's actually thought terminating. So like even if people interpreted things perfectly, it wouldn't create a scenario where a screenshot of multiple stats would be good for discussion.

@draftballr But even without those social factors, the information doesn't actually represent much of the scope of anything on its own. You're basically just asking people to look at the page, form an all-in-one stat in their head by combining the info, and compare the all-in-one stats.

@LAClippersFilm it's the Westin hotel they're mainly complaining about (I stayed there, I nor anyone else didn't have any issues of course). Also the nightlife is live but you gotta go out the way a bit and it's in places these rich boys are afraid to go to.
