(1/n) Super excited to share that our preprint is out today in @NatureSMB with a new name "Integrated MINFLUX tracking reveals two distinct chromatin dynamics classes across cell types" and more than 2x more data: nature.com/articles/s4159… MIT NEWS: news.mit.edu/2026/how-chrom…

A history of viral encephalitis is one of the strongest risk factors for developing dementia. With @JacobJacobog02, Yifan Chen, @RNA_Life, and @RyanDhindsa, we refine this link by describing a neuronal cell type that can reactivate HSV-1 in humans 1/n biorxiv.org/content/10.648…

Excited to share our work on ErbB receptors published today @CellCellPress! Using multicolor, photostable UCNPs, we perform long-term (>15 min) single-particle tracking of EGFR, HER2, and HER3, enabling direct visualization of dimerization in live cells. cell.com/cell/fulltext/…

A weekly jab in the belly is generating more revenue than the entire AI industry. Ozempic + Mounjaro: $71B in 2025. OpenAI + Anthropic: $29B. And they've barely started. ~2% of the 800 million eligible patients can currently access them. h/t @DrSamuelBHume

Transcription factor collaboration is key to shaping T cell states; this preprint maps it at scale. Dive into the full thread for how the research came together. 👇

We then engineered this interaction: we synthetically tethered RUNX2 and KLF2, forcing their collaboration to create a stronger and more specific gene expression response. We’re excited about this direction. Synthetic TF tethering may provide a general approach for engineering gene expression in cells, and a path toward more programmable control of cell identity.

How does a cell learn? In our new perspective in @Nature we propose a model where the properties of the AP-1 family of transcription factors – stress-induced feedback, regulatory combinatorics & cellular memory – encode a mechanism for cellular learning. nature.com/articles/s4158…
