One Nation pushes the narrative that Australian living standards are the worst they have ever been. Living standards in Australia are the best they have ever been. Survival rates from cancer are the best they have ever been. Most houses before the 1960s did not have running toilets within the house. Many families did not have televisions. If you were poor, then there was not a welfare safety net to help you. Children were put into institutional care and abused. It was normal for poor families to not have their children complete high school and sometimes not even primary school. If you were a single, teen or black mother then your children were taken off you. Now tell me how One Nation is going to make Australia great again? Australia is already great. We are not perfect but our standards of living are better than it’s ever been.

Australian interest rates rose today because the government decided to serve themselves instead of you. We have some of the highest income tax rates in the world. The government steals your money, redirects it to useless people who at this point are basically just running fraudulent rackets (NDIS providers), makes sure a lot of it ends up *coincidentally* benefiting assets they already own (cough cough subsidies to pump the property Ponzi scheme), and then imports over a million immigrants in just a few years despite the majority of the population not wanting any of this. They are the greatest economic mismanagers of all time. Australia could not have been blessed with a better setup. We have one of the best lifestyles in the world here - and it used to be accessible to everyone. Your average person on an average income used to be able to succeed here if they put in a bit of work and persevered over time. Now people on even the highest income levels can barely even find a good rental in a decent suburb, let alone afford to buy a house. Their greatest aspiration is now buying a million dollar 2 bedroom dogbox and having a single kid, or just skipping the box altogether and buying a dog instead. This country is being run into the ground intentionally by people who are not only incredibly incompetent, but disgustingly selfish and immoral. Most of the people in parliament are old. The majority of them own houses. They really couldn't care less about you. Albo, for one, has spent his entire life being paid by you, the taxpayer. Chris Minns is another who has practically never worked outside of the public sector either. In fact, most of them have never worked in the private sector. These are people telling you how YOU should live YOUR life. These are ones trying to flex moral superiority and intellect, despite possessing neither. They've never worked at all - you've just paid them for the privilege of them making your life worse and worse every year. At some point this will all reach a breaking point, and really no one should be surprised if it happens soon. There is no incentive for anyone to care about anything under the current economic conditions in this country, because nothing is affordable and whatever upwards mobility you thought still existed is about to be wiped away by AI. The rise of One Nation does not surprise me in the slightest. They are the only ones with the balls to say what every normal person is thinking. We're done with mass immigration and we're done being fed bullshit by unethical people without any skills.
