@ByronYork If he's not going to disavow the groypers and that psych-job Tucker, then he's got about as much future in Republican politics as Liz Cheney. I say that as someone who used to hope that Tucker would one day run for President...

I’m American in Boston. Don’t fall for the op. I know loads of Americans living in America who enthusiastically voted for Trump but are Never Vance. The Groyper movement can’t win you’ll see.

@17Jefferson76 @SteveDeaceShow Recently on Rogan, Vance talks about government doing more things for people. Rubio sounds like Reagan on foreign policy and in his recent speech about socialism. I have questions. Please vote. If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice. -- Freewill, Rush, 1980

@conmomma @ConceptualJames Briefly in 2016. He wasn’t opposing Trump in the 2024 primary like these Marco fanboys though. The neocons/Bushies want their party back.

Whenever I post about my Six Penny Plan to balance the budget, inevitably someone replies: “Didn’t this used to be the Penny Plan?” They are exactly right, and the reason why is sobering. I introduced my first Penny Plan in 2018. Prior to that, a spending freeze was all it took to balance the budget in five years. Today, runaway deficits and skyrocketing interest costs mean it will take a six percent reduction annually just to get us back on track. The math doesn’t lie. Either we take responsibility now, or we condemn our children and grandchildren to economic ruin.

JD Vance would lose badly in 2028 if he's the nominee. Only the cultists in MAGA like JD. Conservatives don't like JD because he's a big government socialist with the economic views of Bernie Sanders and the foreign policy of Elizabeth Warren.

Andrew Tate has a documented friendship/relationship with Don Jr., dating back to at least 2017. Tristan Tate (Andrew’s brother and frequent collaborator) is closely associated with these connections as part of the “Tate brothers” duo, though specific personal details focus more on Andrew. Connection to Donald Trump Jr. The relationship began around 2017 when Andrew Tate posted positively about Donald Trump Sr., and Don Jr. liked the tweet. It progressed to them hanging out at Trump Tower in New York. pbs.org The connection continued over the years, even as Andrew faced investigations and house arrest in Romania. Don Jr. publicly defended the Tates, describing their detention as “absolute insanity.” 19thnews.org Reporting from The New York Times (via PBS NewsHour interviews with investigative reporter Megan Twohey) and other outlets describes Don Jr. and Barron Trump as having cultivated friendships with Andrew Tate. Circles overlapped at places like Mar-a-Lago. Theguardian.com In early 2025, Andrew Tate texted about expecting help from the Trump administration and mentioned Trump wanting to see him in Miami. The Tates (both Andrew and Tristan) were released from travel restrictions in Romania in February 2025 amid support from Trump-aligned figures. pbs.org The White House has stated it had no involvement in the Tates’ legal matters. The Tates’ lawyer has pushed back on some reporting about Barron Trump. theguardian.com Tristan Tate is frequently mentioned alongside Andrew in these broader Trump orbit alliances (media figures like Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens, plus Trump family support), and the brothers benefited jointly from the connections that helped lift their restrictions. Direct personal anecdotes are stronger for Andrew and Don Jr.

@ConceptualJames Translation: Everyone, including JD, understands that this MOU nonsense has essentially tanked Vance's presidential aspirations. So, there is a strategy now is to hide him in a crowd of more credible people and hope some of their political capital rubs off.

What did people expect? Vance made himself the face of a deal that bet terrorists could be made normal with time, oil money and investment incentives. Rubio did something savvier & smarter: he defended Vance publicly, kept the admin unified, and left the ideological bet where it belonged — with the man who sold it. He avoided a press cycle turf war & distanced himself from an Iran MOU that depends on a revolutionary terror regime suddenly acting like Switzerland with centrifuges. Now the deal is crumbling, Vance owns the theory, and Rubio can still own obvious alternative of pressure, leverage then terms. So no surprise here at all.

Much of the Right declared Vance Trump's successor before he ever showed his quality and lack thereof as VP. Meanwhile Rubio was given no such expectations, loaded up with responsibility, and is quietly showing us exactly why he should be president in 2028.

This is like when Megyn Kelly said “we just need to move on from Covid” because she knew it was a weak spot for Trump and strong point for DeSantis. Vance’s weakness on Israel is that he wants both positions. He’s beholden to the Tucker wing as much as Trump’s Evangelical base. He will always be a squish.
BlazeTV@BlazeTV

"If you folks make it very plain that the reason you prefer Marco Rubio to JD Vance is over the relationship with Israel, you're going to nuke Marco Rubio." @SteveDeaceShow issues a stern warning to those trying to make Israel a wedge issue for JD Vance and Marco Rubio:
