Hot take: Not every game has to be AAA /massive open world / first person shooters or whatever to be fantastic. Sometimes laid back short games with random lil mini games, a fun story and a sweet ass soundtrack are just as good. Mixtape is a brilliant game, I had a blast playing it and it deserves absolutely none of the hate it’s getting on here.

@DominicBytes @shadowstripes @wesleytypes "Max players" refers to players at the same time. Not people who have played the game. More people than that bought and played it. The game is very short, not everybody is playing at the same time. You guys are getting so desperate.

@shadowstripes @wesleytypes Oh, no, those are bots. People are already digging into it. For example, there are more reviews than max players (max of around 2000, current reviews of around 3000). A trait only found in older more established games. With new releases, it's an indicator of botting.

The other options are stupidity and bad taste. Too stupid to spot the botting and bribery. Or taste so poor they actually think it's good. All 3 possibilities mean the person is unqualified to review anything because their opinion is worthless. With Mixtape you are seeing a combination of all 3. (Though at least the one being paid has some material compensation to show for their toadiness. That puts them ahead of the other 2.)

@SpIinterCaI I'm playing a ton of games every year. In my 36 years on this earth I've literally played hundreds. Yet Outer Wilds is easily 4th place of my favorite games of all time. Annapurna games are and have always been guaranteed bangers.

Finished Mixtape - utterly brilliant, 10/10. Do yourself a favour and play it - suggest setting aside 3 or 4 hours and playing it in one sitting, with headphones on.
