SEN. WIN EYED AS NEXT SENATE PRESIDENT Senator Kiko Pangilinan said on Saturday that the minority bloc is supporting Senator Sherwin Gatchalian for Senate President. Pangilinan said in a Facebook post that Gatchalian has shown the ability to safeguard public funds and unite a broader reform-oriented coalition in the Senate. He also said current Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano may vote for Gatchalian for the post. Cayetano was elected Senate President on May 11, replacing Tito Sotto in a surprise leadership change.
