Left: President Trump, "Regime change (in Iran) was not our goal" Right: President Trump, "But we also want regime change (in Iran)" These two speeches were on the same day 🤷‍♂️

@PatMurray27 @ShalimarCharlie @implausibleblog Objective. I want a posterizing slam dunk but the goal is to win the basketball game by making the most shots. If we get regime change, great. If we don’t, the operation isn’t a failure because of it as that wasn’t the goal.

@zitoameriki__ @2lonomusic @DefiantLs It is opinion based, you think communism is bad because you think the masses being able to eat is a good thing. That’s your opinion.

Literally not true at all. Debates are not opinion based, debates are factual and logic based. Arguing whether communism is bad is easily proven, if you are smart enough to know the facts. If you dont all the negatives and side effects of communism, then you can look stupid against a marxist who would argue the benefits.

@bengol13 @Th3PwnyExpress @lporiginalg I’m responsible for teaching people on X about logical consistencies in poorly written multiple choice questions. The only logically consistent solution to this question is that either a or d is correct, but not both.

@lporiginalg It’s a paradox. 25% appears twice, making your odds 50%. But if 50% is correct, there’s only one of it making your odds 25% again. Every answer contradicts itself. No correct answer exists.

@JohnnyPaxil @Th3PwnyExpress @lporiginalg If c is the correct answer you only have a 25% chance to answer it correctly. The real correct answer is either a or d, not both. One of them is correct, the other is incorrect.

@Th3PwnyExpress @lporiginalg The answer is C, because two answers are correct (25%) at "first glance", but that means the chances of randomly picking a winner are 50%, or answer C. It's a very meta math problem. Four answer, 25% chance. But two answers are right, actually making a random guess 50%. And C=50%

@Th3PwnyExpress @lporiginalg The entire point is that there are 4 possible answers & choosing 1 gives you a 25% chance of being correct. However, 2 of the answers are 25%, so that now gives you a 50% chance of being right. With the additional 50% choice, that now make it a 75% chance, which is not an option.

@undoxxedwzrd @lporiginalg It's not 50%. It's just "c". The logic of the question makes the answers impossible but one is still right and the other 3 are wrong. So your chances are 25% because a break in logic in the answers doesn't mean the answer won't be compared to the one "correct" answer abc or d .

@E13524Josh @Viss1r @StuffWorthSee If they’re not parallel, you don’t know what the side length is for the “3” side here so you don’t have enough info to do Pythagorean theorem. But I think you’re overthinking the problem by worrying about if they’re parallel in this instance.

@Viss1r @StuffWorthSee As long as the line from the 12 to the 9 is perpendicular to the 12, it doesn't matter if the lines are parallel. As long as you are creating a triangle with a right angle, Pythagorean theorem applies. But, you couldn't make a 3-4-5 triangle if the other lines aren't parallel.

@Daisy_sDad66803 @Bez2987 @jswan11WBCnats The statement you’re complaining about is in reference to a specific video where the 3D vs 2D was mentioned and central to. That also isn’t how ABS is set up, it is set up in the middle of the plate, not the front.

@jeeeke2 @Bez2987 @jswan11WBCnats While the 2D vs 3D discussion wasn't part of the original comment, a pitch should only be a strike when it begins to cross the plate. A pitch shouldn't be a strike if it misses the front of the plate but somehow hits the back of it...which is exactly how ABS is set up.

This is exactly the point. ABS is not the strike zone. The box on the screen is not the strike zone. This is a major issue. Openly flawed. It is not umpire incompetence at any point.
Rob Friedman@PitchingNinja

Umpire incompetence or a Rulebook/ABS Mismatch issue? 🤔 This pitch may have been both: -a Strike according the rulebook strike zone (3 dimensional/starting at the front of the plate), and -a Ball, according to ABS (2 dimensional/measured at the middle of the plate).

@jeeeke2 @HectorE88315654 @Joshwydd_ Black is a racial term for Sub-Saharan Africans, if you weren't aware. Blacks can't be blonde Idc about your fiction show. Ofc you can say "in fiction blacks can be blonde", that's meaningless. You're just wrong if you think they can be IRL

@Daisy_sDad66803 @Bez2987 @jswan11WBCnats You failed to actually address the issue being complained about. ABS is a 2D plane. The rulebook has the strike zone as a 3D shape. This means the ABS might see something as missing the strike zone when according to the rules, it hit the strike zone.

@Bez2987 @jswan11WBCnats OK, since you asked. Every batter's strike zone has been measured before the season. The box on TV has nothing to do with whether it is a strike to that particular batter. And, the ABS system is a FANTASTIC tool to get the call right and get rid of 💩 umpires. Anything else?

@SeanBekkers @HectorE88315654 @Joshwydd_ That’s a ridiculous misuse of the term black. Melanesia literally means “island of black people.” Regardless I’ll work within your stupidity. By your definition, Corlys Velaryon isn’t black because he isn’t from Sub-Saharan Africa. So dark skin and blonde hair is a non issue.
