Taylor Swift is far more influential on young women than Nick Fuentes ever will be on young men, but we don't treat that like a five-alarm fire. Why is that? The things she promotes are just as sinful and destructive.

The sexual revolution got arrogant after its overwhelming gay marriage success. After convincing people that a husband could become a wife, they were sure they could convince us that a man can become a woman. For most people, that was the bridge too far. Now people are looking back and seeing that gender confusion actually began a long time ago.

As much as I appreciate and respect so much of Carl Trueman's work, I think there's a reason the whole "Gig Eva" thing is ringing hollow with so many people. Firstly, due to the vagueness with which Gig Eva is defined, it could apply to virtually anyone who uses a social media platform to articulate their convictions. Thus it can be (and is being) weaponized against anyone with an X account you don't like. Secondly, Gig Eva wouldn't exist unless Big Eva not only failed to lead with biblical conviction, but actually gaslit and tried to intimidate "normie" Christians who recognized an incongruence between the words of Scripture and the demands of the intellectual Evangelical elite, especially in the last 5 years. With the collapse of Third-wayism, the rapid theological decline of many Christian colleges and institutions, Big Eva's flirtation with critical social justice, the love-your-neighbor COVID shaming, a more "nuanced" view of abortion, and LGBTQ ideology (looking at you, Side B), the normies are basically saying, "We're not listening to you anymore." So, in a sense, we're all Gig Eva now.
