There were not starved of golf….what you infer is they were starved of American golfers taking the American Professional Tour, the @PGATOUR on a global jaunt to far away countries. Not sure American golfers want to uproot their home life, sacrifice the small amount of time they get to spend at home with family. Plenty of home grown golf in every country to provide entertainment.

It’s hard to fathom @garyplayer @TheBig_Easy & @TrevorImmelman all very proud South Africans, haven’t offered a single comment on the sensational scenes in their homeland this week. Is it not possible to even offer congratulations on a superb week for the game & nation? Telling.

I love the Australia v South Africa sporting dynamic (which folks in certain countries will never grasp), but I don’t want to choose between ADL/SA as my fav LIV events. Over 100K at both. Massive passion for Golf, fervent support, amazing people & great memories. Roll on ‘27!

@ProGolfCritic @livgolf_league What works with LIV is that they bring the whole show to those countries which are starved of quality golf. PGA tour had an opportunity to think outside the box and bring The Sentry to Australia and chose to ignore it Btw Oz open last year was quality for the first time in years

The South African Open has been around since 1903. The Australian Open has been around since 1904. @livgolf_league attracted more fans over 4 days to those 2 markets than events that have been around for 245 years combined. It took 4 yrs total. Traditionalists just don’t get it.

Simple…..it’s called free enterprise and personal opinion. They don’t support the Bone Saw Tour, especially one that hosted a tournament in an exclusive white majority community in an African white minority country. So much for growing the game at the grass roots level. Perspective.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but it’d be great if @GolfChannel had a 1hr highlights show to recap the days play @livgolf_league. Essentially when the event is in a hard timezone 4 North America or for those who complain they can’t watch some of their favourite players anymore.

One of the great walking bridges in golf. The walk to the back tee on the famous 6th hole at New South Wales is quite the anticipation builder. Such an exhilarating feeling before topping your ball into the ocean.
