@Osint613 If you check the height difference between the two persons when there is a shift in uniform, you can tell they have placed each section in size order. Its extra noticable at the end of the line.

T-mobile has a partnership with Starlink, they are one of the 'major 3' in the US. Starlink has partnerships with a bunch of providers in other countries too, like Rogers in Canada. It's pretty rare in Maine to not have T-mobile service, but if I do, it swaps over to Starlink seamlessly. I can't make calls yet, but can text and use a bunch of different apps (maps, FB Messenger, X, Whatsapp, etc). t-mobile.com/coverage/satel…

SpaceX has just received FCC approval to acquire ~65 MHz of nationwide spectrum from EchoStar for the company's next-gen direct-to-device @Starlink Mobile service. The FCC says the deal gives SpaceX “exclusive-use, contiguous spectrum nationwide” for direct-to-phone connectivity from orbit. Next-gen Starlink Mobile is going to be incredible, enabling 5G speeds from space in the middle of nowhere.

Had a job fall apart? A relationship collapse? Maybe Heaven isn’t silent. Maybe God is stopping you. So why does He keep closing the doors you keep begging Him to open?

@DKThomp Does anyone believe that 92% of high school seniors drank alcohol in 1976? Really? You couldn’t convince me that 92% of high schoolers participated in any activity, in any year, ever in human history! This is sus for sure

It's remarkable how many independent, secular trends are anti-alcohol right now. Just off the top of my head - GLP-1s - post-1970s rise of helicopter parenting - reaction to the binge-drinking spike in late 20th c - phones killing teenage partying - surge in young adult fitness (dancing clubs down, running clubs up) - general rise of healthmaxxing culture among both liberal yuppies and MAHA devotees

@infantrydort Looks great and modern, but the ivan with the moving pipe simulating a rifle worked pretty good too. Saw more than a few privates get whacked by that thing.

@SawyerMerritt @Starlink Exclusive nationwide spectrum for direct to phone 5G from orbit. SpaceX just became a telecom company with no towers, no cables, and no dead zones. AT&T and Verizon should be very uncomfortable right now. 🔥

@catturd2 $100's spend like $20's used to. Leave old Ben on the hundred, and issue an Orangeish $500 with his mug on it. $500 will have the spending power of a 2016 $100.

@JackPosobiec Spent my whole 50 years, except for mil svc,on GA/AL state line, halfway between ATL and MTG. Lived on the AL side 20 years now. Many in the Montgomery area called SPLC the Mansion that Poverty Built, but I don't think any AL AG ever had the balls to go after them.

My argument for years. Once you put a division and corps in the field you learn all the things that matter, the things no simulation can teach you. Like logistics at scale, movement (not maneuver which you can’t do if you don’t first know how to move lots of vehicles simultaneously) and terrain management (without which nothing happens).

This is why we need large scale maneuvers now. Not rehearsed exercises, not under-strength brigades at training centers, not proof-of-concept where everyone stares at the same tactical tech from a tent. Get all those 2-stars in the field and make them prove they can maneuver a division before we have to learn this the hardest way.

@JasonAtwell14 When's the last time a full mech division+ conducted combat not counter insurgency operations? 3rd ID in 2003 or a cobbled together Marine & Army force at second battle of Fallujah? The training centers are built around brigade size elements.

When the world shut down over a 99.9999% survivable virus, I had to tell a few dozen rig hands they were out of a job. Then I had to tell even more frac hands. Then snubbing hands. Then I went home to wait for my layoff. Then I spent 6 months applying for jobs with no interviews because corporate America had banned White men in honor of Saint George Floyd, Patron Saint of Fentanyl. A great Twitter friend who I am indebted to forever got me a job with a 25% pay cut, and I had to work physically harder than I had in a decade. Anyway. Nobody in news media ever reached out for my story. And it wasn’t a unique story, I was one of a couple hundred thousand guys going through this.

My dear friend, @prolifespidermn, was just sentenced to 45 days in jail in Las Vegas, for free soloing the sphere in Vegas to raise support for crisis pregnancies. He was just taken from court house to the jail, while his wife is pregnant at home awaiting his return. Compare this to @AlexHonnold, who was just paid hundreds of thousands of dollars by Netflix to do the same thing with no jail and all praise. Maison DesChamps is a true hero, a modern day Paul the Apostle, and his Price is His Life: one of my show’s first guests (see link below to learn more of his incredible story). Please pray for him, his wife, and unborn child, and give him the hero’s welcome home that he deserves. Also below is his GiveSendGo, where you can send support. They threatened him by saying if he didn’t take the plea deal, they’d go after his friends, so he chose jail. This is a stark reminder of the injustice and absurdity that is plaguing our society and legal system. It’s going to get worse. But The courage of the Everyman who does not let fear dictate his actions, well that is someone who should be revered. Ultimately, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”

@HappyApathetic @johnkonrad The ships in the class were named after stars. The sailors said they usually ate better. It was comparable to if not slightly better than our field hot chow, and on par with our home station dining facility.

@jefwane @johnkonrad You were probably sailing on a FSS/ SL7. In those days, their food in FOS, (Full Operating Status), was often suspect. This was a Steward Department thrown together from the Union hiring halls, and the Steward had been essentially the Cook for a 10 man ROS crew.

@ImKingGinger @megbasham You know, when I saw the trailer without paying attention to who was in it, I thought it felt off. I noticed more anti-capitalist than anti-communist themes. I was wondering what in the hell Angel Studios was doing.

@infantrydort It's not even a,Chritian thing. Every leader of warriors in human history has been praying to what ever God he believes in and maybe some he doesn't if his troops do. And also thanking them through the end of hostilities.

Yea man idk what to tell you but I've definitely prayed to God asking Him to not only help me kill people, but to make sure the boys and I don't get killed either. I'm pretty sure that isn't hubris. There are no atheists in foxholes. But what would you know about that.
James Surowiecki@JamesSurowiecki

It's impossible to overstate the insane hubris required to believe that God is intervening in human history to protect the bombing runs you order.
