@outhcrowfreak as someone who used to use darkship to cope i think realistically most people use it to trigger themselves unknowingly. reenacting trauma, even in fiction, is a PTSD symptom. regardless, ofc, harassing or accusing people for what they read is awful behavior

I think death threats are bad obviously but darkshipping is not at all a good coping mechanism. Exploring trauma thru fiction is fine if its done respectfully but shipping incest and the like is not at all healthy

Normalize refusing to "go to therapy" over dysphoria. It doesn't do anything because gender dysphoria is cured by gender affirming care, not conversion therapy or any other kind of it.
