@NYCMayor Here’s what my school looks like. So much for safety!

Good morning, NYC! Weather: Temps ~30° Snow Cleared: 7,398 crosswalks. 3,366 bus stops. 1,777 hydrants. Ferries: Staten Island on regular schedule. NYC Ferries on adjusted schedule. Outreach: Workers out 24/7 bringing people inside. Roads: Open, but proceed with caution.

My students were badly let down today by @NYCSchools and @NYCSchoolBuses who rerouted our wheelchair field trip bus at the last moment so it arrived almost 2 hours late meaning our special needs students were in the bus longer than on the field trip. @DOEChancellor do better.

So because @Delta changed our plane the day before our flight, the seats we’ve had for months are no longer ours and we’re on standby. Apparently no one can do anything and we just have to hope we get put in seats together. What kind of customer service is that? Wish us luck.

@NYCSchools care to comment on how half my students didn’t have buses, the students that did have buses got dropped off at 10, and how we got a call 10 minutes before dismissal that a bus wouldn’t be there until 5pm?
