Later, when it got too expensive for him, he tweeted “the deal is on hold” and said 20% of users were fake bots (even though Twitter said it was only about 5%) 🤣 The stock price crashed right away of course. Normal people who sold their shares lost money they should have made. A jury looked at the evidence and said: “Those tweets tricked investors andElon is responsible.” But he still paid the full $54 later. It was just a trick to try and get a cheaper price, and everyday investors paid the price.
