That’s just not how it actually works.
Kevin Durant hasn’t “disappeared” or gone missing—he’s still with the team and playing through the series. Fans sometimes say this when a star has a quiet stretch or gets heavily defended, but it doesn’t mean anything off the court is going on.
In playoffs, defenses key in hard on elite scorers like him, so performances can swing a lot game to game. Doesn’t mean he’s suddenly nowhere to be found 😭

Being a ball knower actually came in clutch during my interviews yesterday
First interviewer asked me who I’m a fan of and I said Kawhi and whatever team he’s on. Then he said he’s a Laker fan and I’m like Lebrons the goat I respect that.
And of course he was one of those Kobe lovers and Lebron haters so he said he roots for whoever the Lakers play against and I started talking about LeBron’s massive ego to save myself and it kinda worked
