People occasionally say I should move to Arizona. Gorgeous state, friendly people, incredible 2A, important swing state, etc. If Arizona pulls this off though, that's a huge plus in the "Move" column. What a YUGE win it would be to attract businesses fleeing high tax states.

Dansby is so f’n awful. Now hitting .190 this year, .146 in the month of May. His defense isn’t enough to justify the ineptitude with his bat. There are other shortstops in the league who can play defense AND hit better than .190. It’s unbearable. #Cubs

@RHH36155097 @andybiggs4az Enjoy your move! I'll continue to pay income tax (and I hope I pay tax on my tips again, since it's my income) to support the infrastructure in which I live. And will vote for a real candidate with substantive ideas. Taxes are nothing compared to what we'll be paying for water.

@andybiggs4az Why on earth would you focus on income tax , when property tax is much more egregious? Look I can back you on it. But you know dang good and well our state programs are too entrenched to let go of income tax. But property tax could allow actual home ownership.

@ChavezRavine7 @jj_pavlick Yeah I wonder if they would stand to benefit from an off-field crew chief. They could be in charge of official reviews, check in with home plate ump each inning on his strike zone, etc. It feels like we need middle management 😂

@jess_ismore @jj_pavlick Very well said *NCAA allows umpires to call for reviews on their own. They know when a play happens and they were screened off from the ideal angle. * For pace of play, I enjoy that every game shows about 7-8 strike calls that were a centimeter or two off the zone. @jj_pavlick @ChavezRavine7 But mostly, we need a mechanism for official challenges and in the next negotiation w the umpire union, there HAS to be demotion/suspension options based on now available measurable stats. Example CB had a game where he missed 20/80 grey zone calls. That has to be unacceptable.

@jj_pavlick @ChavezRavine7 and catchers need time to complete a play (pick up the ball, throw for a runner going, drop 3rd strike etc) and still challenge. The two from the other day were an ump volume/timing issue. Remember that ABS used in the minors was mostly with different umps.
