@kdmm1000 @ItsBigZuu You've missed the point.
Without a parent to guide/ force you into supporting a certain team, a child will naturally gravitate towards a big club.
English

@fpl_tactician But it isn’t an assist though? Maybe you should read the rules
English

Children and Reform voters will be wondering how that is Mamardashvili assist because they don’t read rules for a game.

@fplruskey @FPL_Harry Use your head it’s not a very good defensive touch if it ends up in his own net ffs
English

For anyone wondering why Bruno got the assist this is exactly why…
If it had gone
Bruno - Senesi - Maguire
Bruno would get the assist
So
Bruno - Senesi - Hill OG
The same

@therealmav_FPL @FplMode @FPL__Raptor @FPLMattW @FPL_Harry @BigManBakar @LetsTalk_FPL Do you agree if the ball were to touch Senesi, then a Utd player scored, Bruno would still be awarded the assist?
English

@laminestaa Own-goal touch is not treated as a defensive touch, period.
English

SCOUT: After review, the assist for Manchester United's second goal is awarded to Bruno Fernandes. His deflected pass led to the own goal from James Hill. There was no touch from Harry Maguire before the own goal.

@JUSTIN_AVFC_ Regardless of what was initially said, the attendance last night is evidence that they’ve priced it wrong, and I imagine it will be same for the next round
English

Two things I found out today asking fellow fans and doing research…
The prices for the quarter final tie were announced in May…. Not sure why so many are shocked now ?
Secondly, and this is an interesting one, the club didn’t charge cat 1 prices for last night they charged cat 2…. Again I didn’t see any praise for this anywhere ?
I do have to say this, the above isn’t me endorsing the prices, it’s me having a balanced view on them. Come over to the episode to hear all my other thoughts..
Thanks to all the fans who engaged in a calm and constructive conversation earlier on here. We don’t have to like these prices but shouting and aggressive comments imo won’t help things to change.

@Mike87_United Because it didn’t touch him and he didn’t impede the keepers view? Basic

@rioferdy5 Literal foul on Tammy in the build up but not calling it back? PL corruption yet again
English

@TheVillaPolls Agree, Chelsea bullied us and the ref last night, we need to stand up to these sort of tactics and have a nasty streak, no way any other top team allows this without screaming at the officials
English

It’s poor from our side of things. This tactic done exactly what they intended. The players are rattled. Take ownership, it’s your space, your home, take ownership, take command!

Ref was poor, should yellow card everyone of them! #AVFC

Got pelters yesterday for saying Villa had wasted money. Would you look at that.
Kieran Maguire@KieranMaguire
Since the Premier League started in 1992 club have lost £4.99 billion between them, and ten clubs are responsible for 90% of the losses.

@SDP76842783 @jshirl007 @implausibleblog I don’t think we’re going to agree on this so we will agree to disagree. I hope you have a great day

@jgAVFC07 @jshirl007 @implausibleblog I am a consultant urologist so have a good understanding of all of the ‘figures’. Until now I’ve supported RDs 100% but like many in the profession and the wider public they have lost my sympathy. They appear greedy, callous & blissfully ignorant to the wider economic realities.

Keir Starmer criticises British doctors for striking
BMA rep explains that Wes Streeting did not respond to a letter back in November
Then explains how the strike is not about money but also training places
Labour MP Peter Swallow laughs and shrugs off claim that Wes Streeting didn't reply
Labour now behaving as dishonestly as the Conservatives were over our doctors and our NHS
English

@SDP76842783 @jshirl007 @implausibleblog And what is the hourly rate? How many hours would be expected to be worked to earn these numbers? 200k is very very inflated compared to true figures
English

@jgAVFC07 @jshirl007 @implausibleblog The exams fees are an investment for a doctor-when they get to ST6-8 they can expect to earn £74K basic (more with overtime) & when they become consultants they can expect to earn more than £200K+ with outside work. ‘Pay to work’ is a classic opaque BMA talking point deflection.
English

@SDP76842783 @jshirl007 @implausibleblog So the post FY2 pay rise gets taken away by exam fees as well as responsibilities getting much higher, that seems fair? And I agree that other public sector jobs have fallen below also, but not to the extent that a Dr’s wage has dropped. These are all easily accessible facts
English

@jgAVFC07 @jshirl007 @implausibleblog Teachers, police nurses etc haven’t had their real time pay reimbursed either, but they didn’t get 29%. There are no exams to pay in the first two years for a doctor and the cost of exams moving beyond that is more than adequately paid for by their increase in wages when passed.
English

@SDP76842783 @jshirl007 @implausibleblog Can you tell me how much each exam would cost a Dr, we’re talking literally £1000’s a year that has to be paid to do their job. And the 29% still isn’t real terms pay restoration, I feel like you shouldn’t just believe everything you see on the tv
English

@jgAVFC07 @jshirl007 @implausibleblog Not when I look up a 29% pay rise and the average pay after five years. That more than covers £465 registration fee (not even taking into account the discounts for newly qualified doctors & income based discounts). This ‘extra fee’ rubbish is a red herring and you know it
English

@SDP76842783 @jshirl007 @implausibleblog This simply isn’t true, please look up the yearly fees for a uk Dr, I think you may be surprised. There are no mandatory payments for a teacher, most are government funded. Now if you look at how much a Dr has to pay to work, then your argument is invalid
English

@jgAVFC07 @jshirl007 @implausibleblog 29% is a higher pay rise than the average teacher who also has student loans, DBS registration fees, exam fees (should they choose to pursue further qualifications). So the idea that what a doctor has to pay to work is substantially higher than the average worker is patent BS
