@HARRISFAULKNER Aren’t they pretty much closed until about 5 or 5:30? It always backs up early at that airport like people waiting for the doors to open at a sporting event or concert. Now more people are getting to the venue early due to recent staffing issues so it backs up further.

In security line Atlanta Hartsville international Airport at 4:23AM. They gotta get this airport together after the shutdown they need to redo top to bottom on their security check process. NO OTHER AIRPORT that we have flown in/out of on this multi- flight trip—looks like this hours before dawn. TSA and everybody at the airport is super super helpful but my gosh this is stressful for them. I can’t even imagine. 🙏❤️

Atlanta airport this morning. Security line out the door @ 5:49 AM. A major TSA staffing shortage tied to the ongoing government shutdown is driving longer wait times. TSA agents are currently working without pay, and it’s clearly taking a toll. Many agents are not showing up to work, simply because they can’t afford to.
