Purdue turned it over only 7 times, grabbed more than 50% of their offensive rebounds, shot 51%, made 44% of their 3's...at home.....and lost. That is about as crazy a line as you will ever see.

@jimromer2 @CoachManeman Agree. Our little league pays $75/game and it’s no stress/pressure. Assumed high school would at least be $100-$150/ game. Ref shortage has been long time issue but seems lack of effort to at least solve piece of the puzzle.

Misconceptions: 🚨 Player hits the floor ≠ automatic foul. 🚫 “Over the back” isn’t even a real violation. Season first: 🎤 Our crew tossed a fan for yelling the F-bomb multiple times at us during a timeout for “not calling it both ways.” Ma’am… we were. Best advice I ever got from a college official: “Traveling happens every play. Call the obvious. If you have to think about it, don’t call it.” 🧳 Shoutout to Al and all my partners. Same motto as always: Treat every game like a big game, because it is a big game for someone. Now onto baseball ⚾ — the sport I think I’m best at… but somehow my least favorite to officiate 😂 Moral of the story: We NEED officials. The shortage is real. At 44, I’m one of the youngest guys out there. Stay in the game. Get great exercise. Make some decent extra cash. And maybe log 267 miles without even realizing it. 😎

Iowa was never going to be able to outscore Wisconsin. Had to be better defensively. Boyd was best player on floor in this one. Wisconsin can beat anyone in the country when they play like this.

@BatteryKingofPA @mar5hallhoops Skill development isn’t accomplished in travel games. More good would be done with higher % of time dedicated to skill than traveling around a 3 hour radius every weekend.

@mar5hallhoops If you don't play, your child falls behind skills wise, exp wise, etc. Eventually he/she will not be good enough to make a school team once 7th/8th grade rolls around. It is not that I want my kids to do it, they have to if they are going to have any chance at playing in HS.

You parents of kids the play 3rd grade -7th grade AAU I have a question. What do you want out of ball at this age? Yall hop teams regularly, get mad and angry at games, quit teams during the season, cheat, and some travel around the country to play teams at this age. Why?
