This lonely tree stands tall in a pothole carved out of the Entrada sandstone in southern Utah.
After driving down miles and miles of dirt roads, hiking up sandstone in the desert heat, we stumbled upon this tree that lined up perfectly with the Milky Way.
I'm addicted to the thrill of stealing things. But I also know it's wrong. So now I only steal food from major supermarkets, then I donate the food to local food banks. Instant bad/good karma.
As a kid, I farted into a plastic film cannister and left it in a drawer for over a year, curious to know if it would still smell when opened. It did, but rather nice, like it had purified. Also I got a sense of time past that made me melancholy.

Mike Farrell and I today toasting the 50th anniversary of the show that changed our lives - and our brilliant pals who made it what it was. MASH was a great gift to us.
I loved this pass… city lights, thunderstorms, stars and satellite flashes as we approached the sunrise.
Bel passaggio notturno… città illuminate, temporali, stelle e brevi bagliori di satelliti avvicinandoci all’alba. #MissionMinerva@Space_Station@esa
… and in the meantime, looking aft, the aurora shimmers away beyond the horizon. And can you see the shadows cast by the Moon on the @Space_Station elements?
