@LukeCerpinTaxt What logic are you following in telling yourself that the “best idea” is to field a team you think is better without him and then bring what you believe is an ineffective player at this point into the mix for the most important games of the season?

It would suck for Ovi to retire a non-playoff year but I think it's time. The team is, unfortunately, better without him. I still think the best idea is he goes to the KHL then joins the Caps next season's playoff push but understand that's probably hopeful wishing.

I’m playing in a hockey tournament this weekend. First game is tomorrow 230PM… so I’ll be missing all the last minute trades.

I still can't imagine a world where McM's agent would let him play 3C during a contract season after a career year playing top six wing, but if he does play 3C the Caps will be very deep. McM playing 3C also opens up a spot for Miro and Cristall.

That’s why WR Jahan Dotson said in the locker room afterward: “I feel like we just had the biggest preseason win in history.” It’s all because they didn’t care.

@hackers_window @WTOP Here's the reason I was "downplaying" storm chances on WTOP yesterday. 1 storm did pop up over downtown DC (it rained on my house) before moving East to the Bay but it wasn't severe and most of the area didn't get a drop.

Finished the beer league regular season last night with a tidy 2.00 GAA across 24 games. And since I probably averaged 30 shots, somewhere around .930sv%. Time for the 'loffs!

@SouthwestAir just had a horrendous experience as I was boarding my flight (4207-IADtoDEN) when scanning my ticket. The two gate agents were very rude and lacked any bit of judgment. Told me my jacket & a book in disposable shopping bag was a 3rd item and wouldn’t let me board.
