@MillerForTexas Why did you wait until it was campaign time to ask these questions. Seems like those are the things you should ask on day one

@LtGovTX @quorumreport How about doing something people really care about like ending property tax?
English

I don’t read the @QuorumReport often, but when I do, the “stories” are often totally made up with no basis in fact. I have seldom made a comment or response to them. However, the “story” they posted yesterday is the most outlandish lie they have written.
They said: “Here is what we think we know about the unfolding melodrama around the governor's veto of the THC ban – 𝘢 𝘣𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘷𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘯𝘰 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘰𝘳.”
Obviously, these clickbait peddlers didn’t watch the testimony in the Senate State Affairs Committee hearing Tuesday or during the regular session in support of a ban on THC. Every law enforcement agency in the state supports a total ban on THC.
Allen Police Department Chief Steve Dye, representing the 1,700 members of the Texas Police Chiefs Association, stated no chief had ever said anything other than support for a total ban. Chief Dye testified that a ban was the only answer.
Sheriff Brian Hawthorne, Sheriff’s Association of Texas President and Chambers County Sheriff, testified that 100% of their board supports a THC ban and that no sheriff or deputy has ever told him otherwise.
The Texas School District Police Chiefs’ Association submitted a statement confirming they support the THC ban.
All law enforcement are against any regulation other than a full ban because it will make their jobs impossible. THC cannot be controlled without a total ban.
Representatives from the Texas Medical Association and Texas Pediatric Society testified that they support the total ban.
Mothers who lost their children to extreme mental illness caused by THC also provided heartbreaking testimony in support of a full ban.
Based on the powerful testimony from law enforcement and Texans who have been directly affected, Senate Bill 5 passed out of the State Affairs Committee 10-1, with only Democrat Sen. Judith Zaffirini voting against.
During the regular session, Senate Bill 3, the total THC ban, passed both chambers with 105 of 108 Republicans voting in support.
The Quorum Report regularly publishes lies, but I have never seen such a blatant lie from them that is so easy to disprove. The Quorum Report is nothing more than two guys who post political fantasy on the internet, devoid of facts and based entirely on their own imagination.
They aren’t journalists. They concoct “stories” and call it “news.” It’s time for all supporters of this rag to stop funding their lies once and for all.

@ScottPresler How about the Epstein list and auditing Fort Knox?
English

@FBIDDBongino @FBIMinneapolis @DEAHQ Unless the drug runners are on the Epstein list, I really don’t care.
English

An update for you out of @FBIMinneapolis:
900 lbs of meth seized during two traffic stops in Minnesota yesterday, in a hit targeting drug trafficking rings you’ll hear about soon. We’re finding them and crushing their operations. More to come. Thanks to our @DEAHQ partners for the coordination.

@MillerForTexas What happened to your post about using a scalpel and not a sledgehammer?
English

Texas never intended for high potency and dangerous substances like Delta-8 and Delta-9 THC products to be readily available to Texas children. Currently, we have an unregulated marketplace which allows exactly that. That's why I support Lt. Governor Dan Patrick's efforts to protect our kids and end the lawlessness.

@GregAbbott_TX If you do this, they will just raise the appraised value even more instead to get what they want.

Announcing property tax relief as an Emergency Item. #TXSOTS25
This continues to be a top priority in Texas.
We must close local taxing loopholes to ensure hardworking Texans have long-term property tax relief.
