I love the Tyler Kolek pick!!! I feel the same way I felt when the Knicks drafted Deuce, I would've been fine with him being drafted at 24/25

@KnickFilmSkool Can't join today, the takeaway from the last 2 games isn't that the Knicks don't need KAT or JB, it's that they need to figure out how to play well in lineups with both of them. KAT+ JB's offensive fit and KAT + JB being passable on defense is key to reaching this teams ceiling

@DRFHersh That's a breeders cup level field, hopefully they all run.

@BKimGerv @krispursiainen The pool is already very large, nearly every team has a star or two on their roster. We agree they play too many games, but they won't change unless it affects their money, that's from the players and owners

@jmere09nyc @krispursiainen They don’t have as many star-played games - and resting/strategically sitting multiple stars per game for those who have them is far more acceptable now. Either reduce games ($$) or rest (backfired), or increase the pool people come to see. Not sure what other options exist.

I understand governors won’t agree to ditch 10 games because of the lost revenue. My question for dummies: would they really lose THAT much? I can’t imagine this being positive overall. Are they missing the forest for the trees? Or am I underrating how tall those trees are?

🤕 NEW @YahooSports: No Cade. No Ant. Luka Doncic out. All on Amazon Prime last night. Welcome to the new normal. New study shows that just 33% of national TV games have full availability from stars on both teams. On the NBA's troubling star outage: sports.yahoo.com/nba/article/mu…

@BKimGerv @krispursiainen Completely disagree, the NBA has more stars than any point in its history. The NBA should reduce games, but the Owners and player will not agree to reduce their BRI

@krispursiainen It's not just the governors, the players won't agree either, they don't want to reduce the BRI.

@knicks_union Every team in the league has these moments because the draft is always a crapshoot. I implore you to go back and review all drafts form the last 20 years and see the types of players taken before someone who turned out far better.

@EquinealTDN Sat behind Lazzat expecting him to make a move, when he realized Lazzat wasn't gonna get to the front, it was already too late.

Reef Runner was going absolutely nowhere, switched down to the outside rail and somehow managed to finish fourth. Great run.

@atTheTrack7 Agree, Six Speed looks like a really good miler, Wonder Dean is a consistent decent horse, but nothing special

Not expecting to love anything out of the UAE Derby this time around. Nothing ran other than the top two. Will have to see how that time stacks up with the World Cup before determining if it’s solid or not.

@HorseToWatch Six Speed will go to the Kentucky Derby because it's the big race, but I think his best distance is probably a mile, hopefully after the Derby he goes back to a mile, I would love to see him in the Breeders Cup Dirt Mile

I imagine the winner will come to Kentucky since he is Triple Crown nominated. Six Speed is also expected to come, and should inject some serious pace into the Derby.

Wonder Dean outstayed Six Speed to win the UAE Derby. The winner was coming in off a very similar pattern to Derma Sotogake, who also had underrated Japanese 2YO form and got in a prep going shorter in Saudi Arabia.

@abracing0 Treating horseracing like an actual sport, no wonder the sport is growing in Japan while it's failing in so many other places.

An example of transparency with injuries Soul Rush, a literal Group 1 winner with a big stallion career ahead of him The governing body announcing exactly what the injury is and the trainer explaining the intricacies of the problem But in Ireland, an 8yo national hunt gelding sustains “a setback” which rules him out of this season and the entirety of next season, with no explanation of what the injury is to his fans and the general public 🥴

@JayBilas Why are you upset over this? Players and coaches should be able to leave during the offseason. I really don’t understand what your issue is here. Their season ended. What did the NCAA do? Who did they limit that has you acting this way?

Hey NCAA, us more about players that don’t show “loyalty,” don’t want to go through “adversity” and how player movement impacts stability. Tell us more about “tampering” and “poaching.” The Coaches Portal is ALWAYS open. Funny how silent coaches and administrators are about that.

And I know Florida fans (and I think Florida fans are great) think there’s zero chance Golden leaves. Maybe he doesn’t. But let’s be real. It’s North Carolina. That matters. It just does. Use it for more leverage if nothing else.
Sean Paul@SeanPaulCBB

I know the Billy Donovan stuff would be great at UNC, but my first call would be Todd Golden and I’m calling him Luke three times if he says no the first two. You know he can navigate this era, you know he can win in this era and his attitude would win the fanbase over

@GetUpESPN @SethOnHoops This is another low for ESPN, Seth said he didn't work hard enough to get freed up, but ESPN tweets that "he doesn't work hard as he needs to" just to cause a debate. Mis-aggregating their own content.
