@EricNiesen More childish bs. Don’t compare it to football. There needs to be relationship between the C and P. They make the adjustments from pitch to pitch. Not a coach from the side(dugout). Might as well tell your hitters whether to swing or take. Video game bs

Absolutely confirm it!
Fryedaddy/Frito@shegone03

Playing in the @MLB is a lot harder than you think! College baseball is nothing compared to even High A ball. Or at least it used to be. Unless you’ve experienced you couldn’t possibly know. Ask anyone who played in the MLB and they will confirm this.

@JMikeMLB @MLB I trust a future HOFer. Velo, Number of pitchers faced in game, spin rate, tunneling, number of pitches, etc. If you truly believe it was harder to hit 20 years ago than now, you are clueless.

I understand all that but just more Velo isn’t answer to every question. Ks are up bc hitters are chasing EV and HR. Selfish hitters = below avg product imo. The talent is as good as ever but proper development is in the shitter with data coaches and very few ex player/baseball coaches. The game is becoming a video game.

@eaglesanalysis1 @JMikeMLB @MLB There is a direct correlation between pitch velocity and strikeouts. That is why kids who throw harder are recruited. I am not sure why these old timers do not understand that.

I think there are definitely better overall arms(Velo) now. But there are FEWER pitchers that “actually” know how to pitch. Just because you throw fast doesn’t mean you know how to pitch. @MLB #pitching
Eagles Info and Analysis@eaglesanalysis1

@JMikeMLB @MLB You are kidding yourself if you think pitching is even remotely the same level as it was 20 or 30 years ago. One of my good friends is a HS coach. He has the same stalker radar gun he’s had since 2015. He’s had more kids hit 90+ in the last 3 yrs than 87+ the 8 prior

@JMikeMLB @MLB That maybe, but the whole point is it is making it much harder to hit today versus 20 years ago. It is not even close.

@eaglesanalysis1 @MLB The kids that are getting looked at in HS are the ones that throw the fastest. It’s not rocket science to figure that out. But “pitch ability” is lacking mostly. These HS pitchers get away with Velo. HS hitters struggle big time with above average velo.

@JMikeMLB @MLB It’s not rocket science. I think that’s just the standard response now because it’s impossible to prove or disprove. The kids who do make it from HS to college at lower velo r the kids who “know how to pitch”. They on average struggle heavily

Absolutely terrible! The damn strike zone is the size of a dinner plate! Awful approaches and selfish hitting lead to terrible numbers. Low BA’s and high K’s. Although there are plenty of data coaches that can help 🤣 @MLB #hitting #baseball
Fryedaddy/Frito@shegone03

Maybe @MLB pitching is better than ever? 😂 Currently the entire league is hitting (.238) with a (.701) OPS How can the best hitters in the world be this bad? Maybe Spring Training isn’t long enough. 1/2 the players are hitting (.200) or less! #shegone @Angels @Yankees @notgaetti @BobFile @twuench @billdubs @iamrags @SliderDominate @slider_sinker @low_and_outside @WesClements22 @roxbaseball26 @BLocsports @hittingguru7 @TheRealJHair @DMEASrecruiting @mikepiazza31 @ToddPratt07 @GreggOlson30 @VandyonTigers @SalMarinello @AMBS_Kernan

@Dave_mcpatrick @MLB @MLBAnalysis One of these days when you grow up you will understand. No shit pal. You need a MPH but I do not. Real baseball people do not need to know if a ball is hit hard. I know you do because you play MLB The Show. Video games aren’t real.

@JMikeMLB @MLB @MLBAnalysis I don't understand how you can be involved in baseball and think that hitting the ball hard/far, swinging fast, throwing hard, and running fast are not relevant data points to consider

Rob Manfred and the @MLB owners screwed the pooch when they decided to eliminate 40 plus @MiLB teams and cut the Amateur Draft to 20 rounds to save money! It’s very clear that the talent pool is diminished in professional baseball. There are way too many players in the MLB who clearly don’t belong! The “Show” used to be made up of the best players in the world who earned the right to be called Big Leaguers! Now it’s filled with guys with potential who are allowed to fail over and over and over because someone in the organization thinks they will figure it out! That’s what the minor leagues are for! If you can’t dominate in the minor leagues then you don’t belong in the “Show”. It shouldn’t matter where you were drafted or how much money they invested in you! If you suck you suck! #shegone @Angels @Yankees @notgaetti @BobFile @twuench @billdubs @iamrags @SliderDominate @slider_sinker @low_and_outside @WesClements22 @roxbaseball26 @BLocsports @hittingguru7 @TheRealJHair @DMEASrecruiting @mikepiazza31 @ToddPratt07 @GreggOlson30 @VandyonTigers @SalMarinello @AMBS_Kernan

I wasn’t rooting for Rory McIlroy today but that doesn’t matter! He showed incredible resilience after losing the lead and winning consecutive @TheMasters championships! I was never a big Rory fan but I honestly never disliked him. I always admired his talent as an avid golfer. I became a big fan of Rory when a bunch of the best @PGA players decided to forfeit their integrity and take the money on the @livgolf_league tour! We all know Rory was offered LIFE CHANGING money to join but he decided not to! He became the leader of the #pga tour and I honestly don’t understand how anyone can dislike someone who puts his loyalty and integrity above money! I believe that having integrity is more important than anything! #shegone @notgaetti @BobFile @twuench @billdubs @iamrags @low_and_outside @SalMarinello @AMBS_Kernan

I understand but the players are there. Most are not rookies. The teaching is very minimal. If players aren’t producing then changes NEED to be made. That’s where the GM comes in. Boone is getting told who to play unfortunately. Managers really have no say anymore which is bullshit.

The players, of course, deserve blame too, but the GM and the manager also have accountability. If the GM fails to acquire players who are well prepared, then it falls to the manager to supply as many deficiencies as possible. If the GM and manager are both going to point a finger at the players, but neither teach or replace them, then the mistakes will keep happening. And, that's the reality in Yankee land.

It’s not on Boone. It’s on the PLAYERS. Stop giving excuses for the players! Fans, this is the big leagues. Players are at the top of the game. It’s on them! I NEVER blamed my coach. @MLB @Yankees #baseball
The Captain's Blog@williamnyy23

In Jazz' interview he admits that he had no idea whether the runner would have scored if he threw to first and then got the runner at second. That's unacceptable. Having players that unprepared is a fireable offense.
