Happy Mother’s Day "No child should be separated from their mother," says Kiana Rahmani, Co-President of the Narges Foundation. "We hope for the day we can hug our mother again. We call for the freedom of all political prisoners, so that no family is ever torn apart like ours." Free all imprisoned mothers. Free all political prisoners. #MothersDay

The Iranian regime wants to kill Narges Mohammadi because they are afraid of the voice of opposition from inside the country. She is a a Nobel Peace Prize winner, a symbol of courage and peace. But the regime targeting her is the very opposite: one of the greatest enemies of peace. For years, from inside Evin Prison, she has exposed the regime’s abuse of women and political prisoners. They could not silence her words, so now they are trying to break her body. What we are witnessing is is a deliberate strategy. Denying her urgent medical care is a slow execution designed to eliminate one of the powerful voices of resistance inside Iran. If anything happens to Narges, the responsibility lies directly with the Islamic Republic. The world knows her name. The world knows what is happening. Now the world must act. Transfer her to independent doctors immediately. Release her unconditionally. Because when you stay silent, you stand with the jailer, not the prisoner.

#FreeNarges #StopExecutionsInIran #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners #NoToExecutions

Nigel Farage and Kemi Badenoch wanted to jump into the Iran war with both feet without thinking through the consequences. For a party that always does what’s right for Britain, vote Labour this Thursday.

Family of jailed Iranian Nobel laureate fear for her health In Iran, at least 22 prisoners have been hanged in the last six weeks - according to the Center for Human Rights in Iran - including 10 people who were detained during the anti-government protests in January. Iran's most famous human rights campaigner - Narges Mohammadi, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2023 - has been in prison in north-west Iran since February. Her family says there's been a sharp deterioration of her health in recent days - and fear she will die if she doesn't receive adequate medical care. abc.net.au/listen/program… #FreeNarges #NargesMohammadi #Iran

Letter from Afghan Girls to Dear @jk_rowling This is our second letter to you. We read your kind reply to our first letter, and it gave us so much hope and strength. We are Afghan girls secretly studying in WDI Afghanistan online education program. For five years, the world has forgotten us. We have no rights — no education, no work, no freedom, and no voice.  We are locked inside our homes. Many of us are forced into early marriage. Many cry alone. Some have lost all hope. Your Harry Potter stories once filled our childhood with light. Today, we need your courage more than ever. Thank you for standing with us when world leaders and UN turned away. Your voice and stand up is important for us. Our online classes are our only hope, but we cannot activate internet and we don’t have the ability to keep it running. Please join us in our online program. Come and talk with us, support us, and help us with the internet and education support . Please, don’t leave us alone. Be our voice. Tell the world that Afghan girls are still here — still breathing, still fighting, still dreaming , and still learning. We need you. With love and respect , The Girls of the WDI Online Education Program

Urgent Update: Narges Mohammadi remains in the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) of a hospital in Zanjan. Her blood pressure continues to fluctuate critically, yet she has not been transferred to Tehran for the necessary medical treatment. It must be emphasized that the medical actions taken over the past three days have been temporary attempts to stabilize her heart rate and blood pressure through oxygen therapy; this does not constitute a comprehensive treatment process. Effective treatment for Narges Mohammadi’s conditions is only possible if she is transferred to her medical team in Tehran. There, she must undergo essential testing and, if necessary, a fourth angiography so that her condition can be accurately assessed based on her medical history and a proper treatment plan can begin. The authorities of the Islamic Republic bear full responsibility for the life of the Iranian Nobel Peace Prize laureate. Narges Mohammadi and all political and ideological prisoners must be released immediately and unconditionally.

More than one hundred human rights advocates, women’s rights activists, writers, translators, publishers, and allies gathered in New York to honor the lifelong activism of Nobel Peace Prize laureate Narges Mohammadi, who is once again imprisoned in Iran. Hosted at Rizzoli Bookstore by the Narges Foundation and PEN America, the event marked “Narges Day” and stood in solidarity with dozens of human rights defenders, writers, and journalists currently detained or under serious threat in Iran. It was a special session when the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded in Oslo in October 2023. The winner herself, Narges Mohammadi, was imprisoned in Iran and had been since 2021. She has spent most of the last ten years in prison for her fight against oppression in Iran and was first arrested in 1998. She was temporarily released for health reasons in December 2024, but was arrested again in December last year. She was reportedly subjected to brutal treatment and beaten several times during her arrest. "It was very violent. She was beaten in the face, head and chest. She was already in very bad shape when she was arrested. She has lost her sight because of what happened. My family in Iran tried to get her out for a doctor's visit. The prison denies everything." her brother Hamidreza Mohammadi tells Dagbladet. #FreeNarges #NargesMohammadi #HamidrezaMohammadi #Iran

The health of jailed Iranian Nobel Peace Prize laureate Narges Mohammadi is critical after she suffered a heart attack last month, supporters said on Wednesday. Her family and lawyers, allowed a second prison visit, reported a sharp deterioration in her condition, with her physical state now described as critical, her foundation said. The foundation said in its statement the "continuation of this situation places Narges Mohammadi's life at immediate and irreparable risk". On 29 March–after weeks of persistent follow-up and despite the compounded difficulties amid the armed conflict and shutdown of virtually all forms of communications by the Iranian government, Mohammadi’s legal team, accompanied by one family member, visited her in Zanjan Prison under heightened security surveillance. Her general health was extremely poor, and she appeared pale and weak with significant weight loss when brought to the visitation room by a prison nurse. Mohammadi reported that following a loss of consciousness at the Mashhad detention center, a specialist urgently recommended an angiography; instead, she was transferred to Zanjan Prison. She noted that shortly after the war began, reports of nearby strikes and massive explosions heard from within the prison, added to her severe stress. Most recently on 31 March, U.S and Israel airstrikes hit south of Zanjan, only several kilometers away from the prison where Mohammadi is kept alongside prisoners convicted of violent crimes, including murder and drug offenses. Reports also indicate that some of these prisoners have constantly subjected her to harassment, abuse, and threats. Read More : narges.foundation/an-update-on-t… #Iran #FreeNarges #War
