@edwardburnettt @_rank @HantsPolice @HantsPolRoads I'm an Oxford resident also stuck in the standstill. Lots of cars left by way of turning around and driving the wrong way down the motorway. Some people have been playing football on the other side of the road. We are all of course lucky compared to the poor folks in the crash.

Suck in traffic due to a major accident on the #A34. Man, it looks bad. I can even hear the air ambulances taking people away.
I just hope no one was killed.

Just extraordinary. It's truly mind melting to think that someone with these values and opinions is now in charge of prisons. I've not seen anything like it in my lifetime.

There’s no precedent in at least the last 40 years for an English prisons/home office minister talking like this. My mate who’s a senior probation officer just sent me it. Imagine the sense of purpose you would feel going to work after years of solid cuts.
