Because someone decided that displacing traffic will = fewer cars on the road. Why do I drive? Because I work long hrs and would like to get my child home

Yet another night of misery and chaos. It's unfair and untenable. @lambeth_council @TfL do something about it!

What’s to ‘bed in’ That’s not a green / traffic reducing strategy? It’s benefiting a few roads at the sacrifice or car users and residents who are unfortunate to live on major rd

@pegu_juri @streathamaction Obviously beyond LTN impact have to caveat whether they had same experience pre LTN peak times. And LCR roadworks then making things worse. But do email lowtrafficneighbourhoods@lambeth.gov.uk - as keen to understand if emergency services not using filtered roads even if they can

This is the statement I sent to @streathamaction Transport Group Chair a week ago about why I was not going to attend their Streatham Wells LTN meeting last night. Left it up to Chair to inform participants or not about this info. Looks like he chose not to - Chair's perogative.
