Are you sure about this iq level? It doesn’t take a high iq to google search. Governor appoints someone to TEMPORARILY serve the remainder of the term. Also, if we are talking about qualifications, see below for what qualifies someone to run for senate. • At least 30 years old. • A U.S. citizen for at least 9 years. • An inhabitant (resident) of the state they represent when elected (interpreted as at the time of taking the oath for appointees).

This seems pretty crazy: Just handing over a U.S. Senate seat to a completely unqualified SISTER of the senator who just died? Shouldn't voters have a say in this? Or are we back to "royal bloodlines" now?

What difference does it make? NYC elected a unqualified bartender to Congress. Minnesota elected a unqualified Somali Pirate to Congress. The only difference was that they were elected as opposed to appointed. That said, the list of wholly unqualified people in both the House and the Senate goes on and on and on......

Everyone seems to have lost their sense of kindness and we need to get back to a place where we can all just meet in the middle.

It is disgusting. I'm conservative, but that doesn’t mean I believe in everything that is going on. I honestly don’t know what to call myself anymore, but I do know it’s not healthy for all this hate that’s being slung around. Can you imagine being online every day, all day, just being an asshole to everyone because they think differently? I have four grown sons who are not all angels but do not talk to people that way, thank God.

This is so rude and also not true. My dad had his aorta checked 5-6 months before his dissection. You can get all of your checks done and STILL have an aortic dissection. I questioned even sharing the info I've learned because I knew I would get comments like this that would make me hot and nauseous. And yet I did it anyway.
